charles and marcus are so underrated as a teammate pairing because charles was thoroughly beating marcus on track but marcus was still SO NICE to him and made him blush and giggle and i think that's how all men should treat charles

the thing is marcus knew he's flop (and that's why i always loved him) and just wanted (and still wants) charles to do great because he sees the talent he has and doesn't want it to get wasted.

i'll forever cherish their time as teammates although it was so short lived, because the moments they gave us were priceless
