my computer today setting new records for how fucking slow and shitty it can be
ah yes it's hitting 100% hdd usage again and just not fuckin' coming down
closes everything, checks for windows updates, shuts down computer
leaves computer off for 15 minutes
turns computer back on
computer still at 100% hdd usage 15 more minutes later and all i have touched is opening task manager to watch the graph
hm.
#i need to get a new desktop computer ;o;#okay now that i'm finishing typing this post it's starting to have some downspikes in usage but it's still mostly holding 100%#what the fuck is going on#i still haven't touche anything except ctrl+shift+esc to open task manager and clicking to switch to the performance tab#oh my god. NOW there's a windows update pending restart to install#i checked on that before whyyyyy did it not do it then#okay. i am installing it and restarting now.#see i knew if things were being slow there was a likelihood of windows update#okay let's see if this makes any difference#personal#EDIT: it's fine now. but i still need to get a new desktop computer#if for no other reason that windows 10 end of support bc my comp can't install windows 11
