ive thought extensively More Than I Should about mine as a dad and i feel like if he were a dad and he wasn't allowed to get rid of the kid he'd be one of those parents that are 'trying' but their childhood trauma's too strong and they just project onto you and emotionally neglect you if not borderline disown you as much as he legally can
