tumblr rots your brain in a very real way tell me why i saw a post today that said 'its okay to give up your artistic dreams for a 'boring' desk job and a 401k!' why are you grumpy silent gen dad stock character from a 90s movie

#like yes if you actually WANT to do whatever the desk job entails. have at it i guess its your life!!!#if art isn't your thing of course do something different but. um. who on earth said it WASNT okay to have an office job?#every ceo in the WORLD wants you to have a boring office job to make them more money #sorry but joining the corporate machine is not the girlboss slay you think it is. its not inherently evil either but like #you can literally just say you'd rather have a safe job absolutely nobody is going to judge you for that #it's quite literally the norm. get over yourselves
