Hello, been a bit :]
I'm at 110%!
Thr last things to finish are the Patheon of the Knight (working through it), and the Trial of the Fool
Do you have any advice for the latter? /genq
Hello again!
But ough, the Colosseum trials are the one combat thing that I struggle to give tips for </3
I'll do my best, though!!
The good thing, at least, is that you should have lots of practice with God Tamer at this point. The real issue is just getting to her!
(Though if you're concerned about her fight, you could always practice against her in the Hall of Gods!)
I don't know how applicable this'll be to the Trial of the Fool specifically, but if you're in a situation where the arena has not been altered and there's only a Shielded Fool left on the field, I believe you can continuously safely Dream Nail it for SOUL and heal, if you're careful? So you can use it to get back to full health and full SOUL before moving onto the next wave.
In the section with the Death Loodles, I believe I would just stay under the middle platform at the bottom and wait for them to come near me. You might also be able to Dream Nail them there and heal up?
In the section where you don't have much space to move and Garpedes are moving vertically, remember to Dream Nail them if you aren't full on SOUL! And you might have time to heal one mask at a time, but I'm not certain.
What's by far my personal least favourite part of the trial is the section where the floor is entirely spikes and you're forced to cling to the wall while fighting against flying enemies. You can oneshot the Armoured Squits with one Great Slash (or Dash Slash), or with one Shade Soul if you have Shaman Stone equipped!
Let me know if there are any other specific sections you want advice for, though!
Remember that Shade Soul goes through walls, and thus will also go through the platforms!
As for Charms... I'm honestly not too sure. Really, any sort of typical generic battle build should work, I think. Obviously, Unbreakable Strength and Shaman Stone are basically always good, so they're gonna be good here too. Same goes for Quick Slash, and Mark of Pride could likely also be useful. I could see Nailmaster's Glory being helpful if you decide to make use of Nail Arts! Dream Wielder could also be good, for that faster Dream Nailing speed and increase in SOUL gain. And Grubsong might be useful as well?
Not sure how much it'll help, but beneath the cut, I'm gonna list all the non-boss enemies that appear in the trial and the number of hits it takes to kill them from various sources!
These numbers are also assuming that Unbreakable Strength and Shaman Stone are equipped.
----------
Note that when talking about Shade Soul, potential double hits are not taken into account.
Finally, also note that Great Slash and Dash Slash deal the same amount of damage, so whatever I say for Great Slash also applies to Dash Slash.
Heavy Fool: 90 health. 3 nail hits, 3 Shade Souls, or 2 Great Slashes
Sturdy Fool: 80 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Armoured Squit: 40 health. 2 nail hits, 1 Shade Soul, 1 Great Slash
Shielded Fool: 65 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Primal Aspid: 35 health. 2 nail hits, 1 Shade Soul, 1 Great Slash
Winged Fool: 70 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Sharp Baldur: 65 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Battle Obble: 70 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Furious Vengefly: 40 health. 2 nail hits, 1 Shade Soul, 1 Great Slash
Death Loodle: 45 health. 2 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 1 Great Slash
Mantis Traitor: 74 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Mantis Petra: 45 health. 2 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 1 Great Slash
Soul Twister: 35 health. 2 nail hits, 1 Shade Soul, 1 Great Slash
Mistake and Folly: 13 health. 1 nail hit
Volt Twister: 80 health. 3 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
Lesser Mawlek: 60 health. 2 nail hits, 2 Shade Souls, 2 Great Slashes
- One nail hit with the Pure Nail and Fragile/Unbreakable Strength deals 31.5 damage (unsure if it rounds up or down, 21 without Strength)
- One Shade Soul with Shaman Stone deals 40 damage (30 without Shaman Stone)
- One Great Slash (or Dash Slash) deals 52 damage (unaffected by Fragile/Unbreakable Strength)

Pre Calc Sucks
a Tendou x Reader Soulmate AU

If you were told that you'd meet your soulmate through a texting app way before you did, you'd probably laugh at their face and tell them that it's not possible for that to happen, as it only does in movies or books. Or that's what you believed. Never in a million years did you think that it would happen to anyone you knew, let alone you yourself. It was a shock, but it was welcomed with open arms, as you had finally met the love of your life, the one fated to be with you. Meeting Tendou was, by far, the best day of your life. How you first met him however…now that would be a funny bedtime story.
You were struggling with your art and school when you had downloaded discord. A school friend had suggested it to you, as certain servers had places for school or art help, and you had given in due to the huge lack of inspiration you had. Making an account and picking your username, it had finally been done, but once again, you were stuck. How exactly did discord work? Would it just…randomly suggest servers everyday or did you have to find them? You had left it for a while, just empty, waiting for it to be filled. Your friend had asked if you had made any online friends, and responding with no, they became confused. "Haven't you joined any servers?" You awkwardly laughed, turning away from them. "No…I don't know how discord works." You look back up at them and see the most judging look in their eyes. "You're hopeless. Here, let me help you." Taking your phone and opening your search engine, they go to a random site and start scrolling while you look over their shoulder. Seeing them go through multiple windows, they give back your phone. “There, I added you to one, you can figure out the rest from there.” Giving a small thanks, you turn to your phone, reading the instructions. “Hmmm, this is gonna take a while…” After doing a few tweaks and introducing yourself, you finally started to talk to the people on the server, learning their names and pronouns, acknowledging their age for appropriate conversations, and even adding a few friends. You had completely forgotten you were still at school, even though it was currently your lunch period. “Who knows, maybe your soulmate is in there.” Startled, you turn towards your friend then roll your eyes. The whole soulmate concept was something you used to like, but now, it was just a reminder that you hadn’t found yours yet. The whole “first place they touch you” thing was just a taunt, at least to you. Your mark was what seemed like someone's arms wrapped around you, including your upper arms. So many of your peers had already found theirs while you felt almost forgotten. It brought thoughts to your head, such as what if...your soulmate was across the world? Would you ever meet them? Did you even have one? Shoving the last thought deep into your mind. “I doubt it, shit like that only happens in movies.” Your friend looked at you, then smirked. “I don’t know about that.”

After classes ended, you went home, a bit excited to start talking online, as childish as it sounded. You had to keep reminding yourself that you joined for school and art help, but making a few friends never hurt. Taking off your shoes and dropping your things, you sat on the couch and noticed you were home alone for the time being, your parents most likely at the market. Taking your phone out and opening the app, you begin to interact in the correct chat for school.
"Hey! I was wondering if someone could help me with my pre calculus homework? I'm a bit stuck"
You noticed that someone was already going to respond, which comforted you greatly.
"I could help with this! Just give me a moment!"
Checking their profile to not accidentally misgender them, you notice that they are actually a he, and he has similar interests as you. Going back to your bag and getting your notebook and textbook, you turn back to your phone and prepare to fry your brain with math. (fucking hate math, it's so COMPLICATED)
"Alright, what did you need help with?"
Telling your "tutor" about which problems you were confused about, they immediately begin to guide you through it and point out any mistakes you made, all while not exactly telling you the answer. He had helped you understand the concept much more easier than your teacher ever did, and you were extremely grateful for that. He had even given you some extra tips on how to remember certain formulas for when exams and tests are assigned. You thanked him multiple times for helping you with your homework
"Of course! Just DM me anytime you need help, I'd gladly do so!"
And that's what you did, texting him every now and then for homework help, mainly pre calc as it was your worst subject, and you didn't want to burden him with your other classes in case he had his own to pass. Sometimes, you'd even text him because you were actually interested in him, as he had been an interesting person to talk to. Learning a bit about him and sharing a bit about yourself, you quickly formed a friendship with, who you found out a few days ago, Tendou. He'd talk about how he was a part of a volleyball club, being a 3rd year, being part of a powerhouse team, and even some personal facts about his life. Of course, he never told you exactly where he was located, which was perfectly fine, as you didn't want to disclose that information either. However, you soon started to notice that whenever Tendou would text you, you'd become giddy no matter what the conversation was about, and when someone other than Tendou would text you, you'd deflate a bit, hoping it was him. Whenever you'd be doing anything else, you were hoping that he would send you something, you were just hoping to talk to him. These feelings scared you, as you might've had a soulmate, yet you fell for Tendou, and you prayed that maybe, it would somehow work out.
4 months later, and Tendou being your "tutor" was still going strong, and your friendship even stronger. You had brought up meeting with him a few times, and the both of you had even planned it sometimes, but never actually went ahead with those plans. Your schedules never met up, as he had practice and you had a part time job. You grew wary, wondering if you would ever meet your online crush. It was then that you realized you had absolutely no idea of what Tendou even looked like, which meant you could've passed him on the street multiple times without noticing. You would constantly hope that one day he would stroll into the little cafe you worked at and notice you, but that was a far stretch, as he had no idea of what you looked like either. Today was no different. Each time a customer would waltz in, you had hoped that it was Tendou, but it never was. It was currently near closing time, and you had begun sweeping the place while a coworker cleaned the kitchen in the back. It wasn't until you were about to begin putting chairs up that you felt a vibration come from your phone. Taking it out, you look at your notifications and see you had gotten a text from Tendou, and you felt your heart skip a beat. Scanning the text, the happiness you had felt quickly melted into excitement and nervousness.
"I found the place you work at, and I think I see you. Are you the one who's holding a broom?"
Rereading the text a few times to check if you weren't seeing things, you began to grow panicked. Today was an extremely stressful day, and you knew that you looked horrible. Your hair was a mess and you had even cried once due to an overly loud and rude man whose order was messed up, and you knew that the tear stains were still slightly visible. Quickly answering his text with a "come inside then :)" you continued to put chairs up in hopes to distract yourself from the nervousness and panic growing inside you with every passing second. Hearing the door open and the small bell above it chime, you freeze. "Um…are you possibly Y/N?" Turning around slowly, you're met with a tall boy with red hair and tired eyes. He reminded you of a lizard, and you thought he was really cute. Remembering that he had asked you a question, you answered. "Yes I am. Are you Tendou?" His eyes widen, and a smile grows on his face. "Aahhh, I finally get to meet you!" Realizing that he is indeed Tendou, a smile of your own grows on your face, and you couldn't stop yourself from engulfing him in a hug. The hug is cut short however, since you feel a searing pain from where Tendou had wrapped his arms around you. Pulling away, you look into his eyes, and does the same. Realization floods his eyes, and he looks as though he's about to cry. "Well shit, who knew you'd be my soulmate too." You immediately run back into his arms, shedding a few tears into his hoodie as he hugs you as if his life depended on it.
"I guess stuff like this really does happen in real life."

Scars That Heal || Eddie Kaspbrak x Reader Series
• Ch. 7: Hush, Hush, Hush •
The children walk single file as they descended from the brush from where they had escaped, Eddie in the lead, Richie taking up the caboose. Y/n had helped Mike up the rocks, and shortly after found herself in the middle behind him. Mike cast a glance in her direction as well as the others.
"Thanks, guys," He said, redirecting his gaze to the ground. "But you shouldn't have done that, they'll be after you too, now."
Eddie was the first to chime in. "Oh, no, no, no, Bowers? He's always after us."
"I guess that's one t-t-thing we all have in common," Bill added.
"Yeah, homeschool!" Richie chirped. "Welcome to the Losers Club!"
Y/n smiled at the boy's remark, shaking her head lightly. It was then that Y/n was reminded of the fleeting thoughts from the night before that bounced around her tired, foggy brain. And a familiar feeling bubbled back up to the surface along with it; a sense of belonging. Y/n did not have much luck when it came to getting close to people, aside from Beverly of course. Until that day at the quarry, she had never truly felt at home. And now that they had a new member - the last piece of the puzzle - she knew as long as she had them, she would be whole.
In fact, they would never say it aloud, but each and every member of the Losers Club shared these same feelings. That day marked the beginning of a beautiful and powerful bond that would last a lifetime. Each and every one was just as important as the next and if you were to pluck any from the line, they would never quite be the same. Each of the eight children felt immediately at home with one another, a comfort so deep and profound it could quiet any lurking anxieties or fears.
For a short while, no one said anything, just a peaceful ambiance blanketed the atmosphere as they descended the small hill of grass. Each of them could feel the tall green blades brush their legs, and the silence was filled with the low yet loud rumble of the train traveling along the tracks, yards behind them. When they reached the bottom of the small hill, Y/n scurried up to the front and joined Eddie by his side. Everyone else disperses, scattering amongst one another, Ben silently taking the lead.
"Hey Kaspbrak" Eddie looked to her, a little taken aback but attentive. "I'm counting on you,"
Eddie blushed uncomfortably until he realized what she had been implying. She had been holding her left arm, just below the shoulder, and gestured to it with her eyes. She blushed herself and played it off with a weak laugh.
"My arm?" She wiggled her eyebrows playfully. "If you anyone has a band-aid it's you."
He laughed nervously as well, as he reached into one of his fanny packs, careful to watch his step as he was still walking. He pulled out a bandaid and handed it to her, she smiled in thanks. She wished she could have said she was surprised when he continued to pull supplies out one by one. And she'd be lying if she said she didn't find that a least a little impressive. It reminded her of clowns packed into a clown car. Ugh, she shivered slightly, bad analogy, nevermind.
"Here you go. Also, here's some ointment, it's a special disinfectant - who the fuck knows all the germs that were on that rock, you'll need all the help you can get. I also have gauze, normally I don't carry gauze but since your leg is still pretty bad, I figured I should carry some, just in case. Here you take it, I think I have some more, also, I kept a small wrap of ace bandages, you really need to - wait you have been changing them frequently, right? You always, always change bandages, the bigger the wound the more important it is you change it. Seriously, this is really important because-!"
"BEEP BEEP BEEEP!" Richie shouted suddenly, strolling up and walking between the pair. "Hear that sound, Doctor K? That's the sound of her flat-lining. You took too fucking long, genius, if you were a real doctor she would have bled out on your table already!"
Y/n snickered under her breath, several of the Losers smiled as well. Eddie felt his face grow hot, and he turned angrily to Richie, his face contorted in an angry pout. He was struggling for words, but before he could form a proper sentence, Richie continued.
"Quick tip, Doc, don't talk your patients to death!"
Stan laughed dryly, "Yeah, you're one to talk."
"Hey there, woah, woah, woah!" He threw his arms up in defense. "I'm just givin' the people what they want!"
"Great!" Y/n said excitedly, her face lighting up briefly before falling. "How bout some silence? Beep beep, Richie."
Mike, who had blended into the group so effortlessly and had been silently processing - still adjusting to the group dynamic - laughed suddenly and loudly. Everyone looked to him, taken slightly aback by his sudden, but infectious laugh. And it wasn't long until that laughter spread, everyone had cracked a smile and there was scattered laughter that melted away any previous tension.
By now, Y/n had applied the ointment and the band-aid easily. She handed the tube of disinfectant back to Eddie as well as the gauze.
"Thanks, but the band-aid will do just fine. Luckily, this one is only just a little cut."
Eddie nearly tripped, he had been so lost in thought as he stared anxiously at the gauze outstretched in her hand. He licked his lips nervously, and his eyes flickered to hers. She noted his tentativeness and waited expectantly, but he could hold his tongue no longer, crush or not.
"...Seriously, have you been changing those bandages, you never answered me and I'm sorry but that's disgusting if you haven't changed them cause the wound really needs to air out and if it doesn't you could end up-"
"Christ, Eddie! I've changed them!" Y/n blurted, falling into a small fit of chuckles to show she wasn't truly mad.
He tried to conceal his blush, but he played it off with a vigorous shake of the head and change of topic.
"Hey, where are we going anyway? I can't be out too long or my mom will kill me. One time, I was like, two minutes late for curfew and she had a panic attack."
Ben looked over his shoulder, he had taken the lead and while no one had mentioned it yet, everyone had instinctively followed him.
"Well, I was hoping to show you guys something."
Everyone gave one another an odd, questioning look but they followed Ben into the trees, nevertheless.
×××
Night had fallen the day of the rock fight and another day began. The group of misfits had found themselves in town, where the annual parade was taking place. Wracked with guilt and the unpleasant feeling of being pitied, Y/n was trying to talk Eddie out of buying her the delicious frozen treat she had been ogling. Eddie had noticed the longing in her eyes when she spotted a young child with one of their own, and it was then that he really noticed the effects the sun had on her. Her baggy clothes were sticking to her arms and legs, and he could see beads of sweat percolating above her brow.
Once again, their previous exchange on the fire escape popped into his head and he was reminded once more of how fortunate he was that he could afford such little things he took for granted. The power of suggestion had already gotten to him as well when he saw a frustrated father shoving an ice cream cone at his crying child, and although the sight made him cringe he couldn't quite shake the sudden craving of the sweet treat. Hence their detour to the ice cream cart, he could practically hear Richie ragging on him for getting her something with the audacity to leave him out - What, you skimping out on me now, Eds? - Eddie opted for a vanilla cone for Rich, just to be safe. But none of that stopped Y/n from protesting against it.
"Eddie, you really don't have to do this,"
The young L/n girl looked between the hypochondriac kid and the disgruntled teenager behind the cart, slinging ice cream. Ignoring her protests, he dropped the small pile of coins he had retrieved from his fanny pack onto the metal counter of the cart. The overheated employee slid it towards himself to the end of the counter, plucking the quarters from the surface and handed Eddie two vanilla cones. Eddie gladly took them in each napkin-clad hand - he had already grabbed several napkins so as to not spill or drip anything. Y/n watched defeated, albeit a bit excited, as the young man behind the counter opened another compartment and retrieved the y/f/f popsicle and handed it to her.
She hesitantly took the popsicle, trying her best to mask the ravenous look in her eye.
"Eddie-"
"Look, it's best you have that anyway, it's supposed to get like, really hot out today so it's best you keep cool or you could be one step closer to heatstroke. And let me tell you, that is not fun, not fun at all! Did you know that-"
A loud burst of noise disrupted their conversation and they turned to see the cause. Richie had gotten his hands on one of the marching bands instruments - a tuba by the looks, and sound of it. The owner of the tuba was angrily reaching for it but Richie managed to keep it out of his reach. His cheeks puffed and his face turned pink as a few short bursts of noise came from the instrument.
Eddie and Y/n shared an amused look and Y/n's eyes fell to the popsicle. She sighed lightly, trying to tame the pit in her stomach that always occurred when she was pitied. Now Y/n appreciated the gesture, she really did. It was awfully sweet of the boy, and she would be lying if she said it didn't make her stomach do a small flip, but all that was easily drowned out by how small she felt. She hated being a charity case, it was bad enough Beverly had basically kept her fed all these years but Y/n reminded herself that their friendship was symbiotic - they each had something to offer the other. But this made her feel like she owed Eddie, and she didn't like that.
The two left the cart and walked along the sidewalk at a steady pace. Nervously, she looked at the boy.
"Eddie, I appreciate it, but I don't want to owe you or anything. I-"
Eddie's face contorted into a confused frown. He chuckled weakly before taking a quick lick of his ice cream. He shook his head.
"You don't owe me! It's just a popsicle, it's no big deal."
Words failed her and she looked at the popsicle tentatively. Eddie noticed this and was scrambling to put out the small fire he had caused.
"Think of it as a favor to me,"
Y/n showed no efforts to hide her confusion. "A favor?"
"Yeah, you stay cool, and I don't have to take care of you when you suffer from heatstroke."
Her frown stayed cemented to her face as she stared at the boy, and Eddie feared his message was lost in translation. For fuck's sake, he didn't mean it like that! Great, now he sounded like a total ass.
Y/n broke out into chuckles and Eddie felt the enormous weight leave his shoulders. He chuckled with her, though they came out more strained and nervous. She shook her head, eyebrows raised.
"Man, you must care if you're willing to make up that load of horse shit." Y/n's tempted eye fell to the popsicle in her hand. "Thanks, shrimp, I appreciate it. But just this one time, okay? I always end up feeling like I owe people whenever they do stuff like this. Even if it's small things, cause a lot of stuff that might seem small to you, are kind of a big deal to me, does that make any sense?"
Eddie nodded.
"To tell you the truth, I've never tried one before."
Eddie's eyes widened and he looked frantically between her and her dessert.
"You gotta try it! They're really good!"
Y/n smiled weakly.
"Eddie, I mean it. Do you get what I'm saying?"
Eddie nodded eagerly, his eyes frequently falling to the popsicle.
"I get it, won't happen again. I promise. But seriously, you gotta try it! Really though, before it melts."
Y/n examined the frozen y/f/f pop and noticed the ice was thinning. She shrugged at Eddie and tried the popsicle. Her eyes widened and she gaped at the boy.
"Holy shit."
Eddie grinned eagerly, and by now the two were approaching Richie.
"Right?"
"Dammit, Eddie! You really shouldn't have done this, I'm gonna want another one!" She whined, though her voice held a twinge of humor.
She switched the popsicle to the other hand to lick the melted residue that had made it on her fingers. Eddie was quick to supply her with an extra napkin which she thanked him for.
Eddie laughed at her words and he noticed he had caught Richie's eye. More specifically, the extra ice cream cone did. Richie abandoned the tuba and waltzed over to the boy, gladly accepting the treat and the trio found themselves joining the rest of the group just inside the alley. They were all somber, Y/n couldn't help but notice.
"What's wrong?" She asked, drawing all eyes to her. "What are guys talking about?"
"What they always talk about," Richie said simply.
"I actually think it will end," Ben said, ignoring the interruption. "For a little while, at least."
"What do you mean?" Mike asked.
"So I was going over all my Derry research and I charted out all the big events. The Ironworks explosion in 1908, the Bradley Gang in '35, and the Black Spot in '62. And now kids being... I realized this stuff seems to happen-"
"Every 27 years," Bill and Ben finished.
Y/n looked up from her frozen pop and licked her lips, for some reason feeling silly for enjoying such a thing during this discussion. She found her stomach was twisted in knots, though at least, she thought, Eddie was right. She was feeling cooled down. But none of that seemed to matter now. Like it was all a matter of time before all of these fleeting feelings, these little moments, were being packed and stored away for a long time. It was a strange feeling that she couldn't quite identify, a feeling each of the Losers Club was experiencing: that while everyone around them was laughing and playing, enjoying the blissful moments of summer, they themselves each felt as if they were enjoying their last day on earth.
×××
"So let me get this straight," Eddie began, fingers drumming nervously on his right knee. "It comes out from wherever to eat kids for, like, a year? And then what? It just goes into hibernation?"
The Losers found themselves in the park, frozen treats long gone, the pits in their stomachs however still very much present. Bev, Stan, Mike, and Ben were splayed put on the bench, backs to the infamous statue of Paul Bunyan. Richie sat on his parked bike, unfortunate enough to be facing said statue - he never said it but the thing always creeped him out, just something about it. Bill and Eddie each found a seat of their own on the long back of Silver and Y/n laid in the grass before them in between the two bikes. She was propping herself up with her arms and legs splayed out before her. Her leg was healing fast but she didn't want to risk sitting on it and making it worse.
So here the Losers sat, lost in discussion and despite the hot weather, there was a chill in the air that only these eight misfits could feel. Looming over them, watching them, much like It did their own town.
"Maybe, it's like-- What do you call it?" Stan paused, searching for the word. "Cicadas. You know, the bug that only comes out once every seventeen years."
"My grandfather thinks this town is cursed," Mike said. "He says that all the bad things that happen in this town are because of one thing. An evil thing that feeds off the people of Derry."
An evil thing.
The three words that lurked in the back of Y/n's mind all her life. She could feel herself falling back into the pit, the black hole that swallowed her up every time she thought of the looming threat. She could feel herself disconnecting from the world again, watching herself being ripped away from this moment in time and tossed back to that awful night, though she could still hear the worried voices of her friends speaking. Completely unaware of her state of mind. The words were fuzzy and distant, background noise as she felt herself being transported to that day.
"I ain't got much time left, but at least I'm safer than you. I'm old, I've lived my life but you? Well, you're closer to death's door than I am."
"But it can't be one thing. We all saw something different." Stan said, his voice now began to fade out.
The voices were now blending together as memories of her past became her present reality.
"Cause this town, I tell you, this town... There's an evil, evil thing in this world," the man said.
She could hear her younger self whimper in fear, her own voice was squeaky and very frightened. The old voice continued, it shook with fear and the terror was as ripe as his memory, like only seconds had passed, not decades.
"monsters are all too real my child, I've seen 'em with my own two eyes."
Mike's voice found a way through her skull, echoing softly as all the details of the day she worked so hard to forget, came flooding back.
"Maybe. Or maybe it knows what scares us most and that's what we see."
"The Devil himself lives here, right here in this very shit hole and I've waited a very long time for this moment; to be free."
There was a moment of tension-filled silence as the young h/c girl looked up at the slouching figure. The girl clutches her teddy bear tightly to her chest - the sad old thing nearly worn down to threads - tears pooling in her e/c eyes as she stares on in horror at the distant relative. Old and senile he was, why her mother brought her here she didn't know. Y/n would later figure out that it was a final visit of sorts. A last chance to meet some of her family. And while her mother stepped out of the room to retrieve a simple glass of water for the man, he turned unexpectedly to his grandniece and imparted the words she would never forget.
"He's in your closet, under your bed. He's everywhere, always, watchin' you. Waiting for the right moment to snatch you up. And he will get you. He always gets you... he got her, I told her not to go, but she was adventurous you see, much like you kids are these days, and mother didn't like that and she always told us; 'you mind yourself or I'll tell him. I'll tell him...'"
The old man's glossy eyes drifted away, his voice trailing as he was lost in the memory; reliving it all over again.
"Tell who? Who is he?" The young girl asked tearfully?"
He broke from his trance and he looked at her with cold and fearful eyes.
"The Boogeyman." Y/n croaked, breaking from her stupor.
The Losers all looked to their friend in the grass. The color was drained from her [s/c] skin, and her eyes were distant and glassy. Her left leg had inched gradually up and was now clutched tightly against her chest protectively. Seven pairs of eyes were now fixed on her and she gulped.
"My great uncle Henry, I only met him once when I was about five or six, but he- he told me about how he saw the Boogeyman. Not much else, but the way he described It... I don't know, it always stuck with me. I've been afraid of It ever since and then-" Her eyes met Beverly's and she knew she had connected the dots.
"Your ankle." She finished.
Y/n nodded. She shifted in the grass uncomfortably before looking around at her friends. Some of them confused, others connecting dots of their own, but still intrigued and listening.
"When school got out, Bev slept over." Y/n began, filling in Mike especially. "We both fell asleep with the TV on, it woke me up so I got up to turn it off, and then, just as I started to drift off I felt Bev pull on my leg several times. But, I woke up and realized she was fast asleep."
She shook her head, trying to rid herself of the nerves that came crawling back even now. She fixed her eyes on the grass below her, and her fingers worked themselves into the ground. Y/n began fiddling with eh blades of grass, twirling them and ripping some from the ground as she continued.
"Next thing I know, It's pulling me across the carpet and my leg is torn to shreds. It looked like what I always imagined the Boogeyman to be, but... but it also looked like-"
"A clown."
She had to turn her body slightly to look at Eddie, but she nodded, confirming everyone's suspicions from the day before.
"Yeah, I saw a clown too. But It was also a leper." Eddie saw the confused looks scattered across his friends. "He was like a walking infection."
Eddie felt himself fighting his bodily instincts to vomit, still repulsed by the vivid memory. Stan, who had been squirming in his seat the entire exchange, fought desperately to deny the gory truth that lay before them. Trying to convince everyone, himself especially, that this thing couldn't exist. Cause if It did, it would be all too terrible.
"But you didn't," his voice trembled. "Because It isn't real. None of this is. Not Eddie's leper. Or Bill seeing Georgie, or-or woman I keep seeing." His voice broke, he looked down at his feet and the others knew.
He was trying to convince himself.
"She hot?" Richie asked with a half-smirk.
Stan gave Richie an incredulous look, and his voice rose.
"No Richie! She's not hot! Her face is all messed up. None of this makes any sense. They're all like bad dreams."
Mike spoke up, unable to tiptoe around him any longer.
"I don't think so. I know the difference between a bad dream, and real life, okay? Besides, look at Y/n's leg! How do you explain that?"
Y/n gave Mike a thankful nod, and Eddie asked the question she had at the end of her tongue.
"What'd you see? You saw something, too?"
"Yes," Mike answered somberly, and he took a deep breath. "Do you guys know that burned-down house on Harris Avenue?"
Y/n nodded, encouraging Mike to continue.
"I was inside when it burned down." Mike began fiddling with his hands nervously, and Bill could feel his heartache. "Before I was rescued, my mom and dad were trapped in the next room over from me. They were... pushing and pounding on the door, trying to get to me."
Mike's voice broke and he fought hard against the tears that threatened to spill. His heart was breaking in two all over again, he rarely spoke of the incident, always much too saddened by it and each time he did he could hear their frightened screams and the scratches against the door.
"trying to get to me." There was a pause, and Mike swallowed the swollen lump in his throat. "But it was too hot. When the firemen finally found them, the skin on their hands had melted down to the bone."
"Mike," Y/n felt at a loss for words, but all she could manage was a simple few. "I'm so sorry."
He shrugged, and everyone could tell he was already beginning to rebury the memory.
"We're all afraid of something."
"You got that right." Richie quipped.
Everyone looked to the boy and Y/n asked gently.
"What about you, Rich? What are you afraid of?"
His eyes flickered to Eddie against his will, and he ignored the spike in his heart rate when he did so. Everyone was staring at him now and he gulped, looking over his shoulder to see a clown on the stage across the field, staring at him. He returned his gaze to the group, and swallowed nervously, adjusting his bulky glasses.
"Clowns."

Abbacchi x Reader: Sudoh Buck AU
The coffee shop Abbacchio THIRST everyone keeps losing their collective shit over on AO3 and admittedly the chapter where I decided I was one thirsty ass bitch. All characters aged up.
...
"Ok, fucking Darth Vader over here, whoever has their headset on turn it the fuck off! Sounds like you're doing something gross!"
Darth Vader is an understatement. Whenever someone leaves their headset on and does any task, your ears are assaulted with what sounds like some mouth breather huffing directly into your ear canal.
Not even two shifts into Passione and you're already showing your coworkers that you have the capacity to look innocent, but have the mouth of a sailor. In a fitting turn of events you've been put on customer support, free to fuck off wherever you wish and cuss all you want on the headset. No one at your store appreciates your humor, in fact any time you make a joke they conveniently pretend they don't hear you or they grimace until the situation becomes awkward and you have to shut your mouth before you make an even bigger ass of yourself. Here at this location, the boys eat it up with a spoon. They can't get enough of your jokes, encouraging you whenever they force a headset on your head the minute you clock in. Even the new girl Trish, a pretty thing with dyed pink hair and a smile that goes for miles, joins in on the never ending train of dirty jokes, profanities, and general riff raff that makes Bruno bitch at everyone involved like a single mother.
But at the moment, the breathing most certainly does not belong to Bruno. Usually he's the one who always casually reminds people when they leave their headsets on.
"Mista!" you growl, "Turn it off or breathe less!"
"It's not me." he insists, the beep of the warming oven being cut off as he mutes himself.
"Narancia, I love you but I don't need to hear what it's like for you to get laid!"
"Negative babe~... I'm on drive bar." Narancia replies.
"Trish?"
"Not me hunty." she answers, and the sound of the wind in her headset confirms this.
"Fugo, I swear to fuck-..."
"It's me. Fugo doesn't have a headset."
Immediately you press on the sprayer head a little too hard and the back splash soaks the entire front of your apron and your uniform shirt. The voice you're greeted with on the headset is totally foreign, and unmistakably sexy. A low hum, almost like Bruno's baritone, and much like the rest of the crew you've come to love it's colored with the slightest hue of an accent that makes your knees start to knock together. Admittedly you're bad with voices and just as worse with names. You can't put a face to this voice no matter how hard you try, and it's no wonder considering that out of all the stores in the district, Passione has more employees than any of them, including H. Green and S. Platinum locations which are always overstaffed because of the sheer amount of business compared to the meager crowds you get at Ogre Street.
But... With that voice... if you were a customer you'd fucking live at that drive thru just to hear him read back your order to you.
"Woah..." you're nearly moaning the words "I'm wet in more ways than one, who the fuck is this?"
"It's Leone." he replies, voice low and sultry, "Sorry about that, I was eating a bagel."
Leone... who the fuck is Leone? Surely he has to be one of the other baristas whose names you never bothered to learn... doesn't really matter to you when you have constant attention of the store's man candy. But suddenly this is a whole new person with the sexiest voice you've ever heard giving you attention like everyone else. For very obvious reasons, this piques your interest.
"I don't recognize your voice." you said, putting down the whisk you were rinsing. "What's your last name?"
"Abbacchio." he responds. "We haven't met face to face yet, but I've seen you before. You're the beanie from Ogre Street right? It's nice to finally talk to you. I think you're really pretty."
... Oh sweet baby Jesus why aren't you taking the wheel yet!?
"Aww, and aren't you just a sweetheart?" you murmur, leaning over the sink as your voice drops to a near whisper. "Wait... Aren't you the one with the pretty handwriting in the book?"
His chuckle makes you honest to god swoon, and even Bruno peeks his head in to check on you when you make that kind of a noise.
"Yes, that's me." he confirms. "And you're the one with the great customer service. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to you, but I've been listening for a while. I really like your attitude. You're much more fun than your coworkers."
“Really?" you ask, taking up more dirty dishes, "Big shocker there, I'm surprised no one at this store is drooling over Ogre Street's heartthrob one miss Kimmy."
"Meh. I think the consensus is that you're the favorite barista out of everyone from your store if we're being honest."
That's Narancia, and even Abbacchio agrees with the rest of the crew. They all start complimenting you, how you never ask stupid questions, you try to help out any way you can. They honestly can't go two minutes without berating the other coworkers. It's all things you'd normally do to try and be helpful, but you're not sure exactly why it's so endearing to all of them. You're just another barista? It's never mattered to anyone this much before. Especially when you always come home in tears at your other location. It must be that you're not used to receiving compliments in such abundance.
"Agreed." reaffirms Abbacchio. "You're really agreeable, and I like your jokes. Your laugh is really sexy."
"Well aren't you a flatterer." you smile, putting the dishes to soak in the sani solution before throwing them for another go in the dish washer. "But I like having my ego stroked. Tell me more about how I'm wonderful, Abbacchio."
You can tell he's about to reply, until you hear the mournful "ding" from the drive thru sensors indicate that someone wants to order. You hear him tell you "hold that thought" before he turns his charms the customer.
"Hello there..." he purrs into the headset, "Welcome to Sudoh Buck, what can I get started for you today?"
The customer murmurs an "oh wow" before she remembers why she came here in the first place.
"Um yes hi can I please get a..."
It doesn't take much for you to zone out and return to your task. As soon as you finish up this set of dishes, you'll be able to take your last ten before you go home for the day. Customer Support is one of those coveted positions because you have little to no interactions with customers at a busy store. Bruno sets you to work with a task list, you work to the limit on the timer on your apron. Whenever it goes off, you have to drop what you're doing and come back to front to brew coffee. If anyone needs anything, like if Mista runs out of warming bags or Narancia needs more cups or milk, all they have to do is press the button on the headset and set you forth to do their bidding. Admittedly, you don't find yourself going straight home anymore. Even your brother, stoic and nonchalant, makes comments about it whenever you come home an hour or two later than the time you're supposed to. Mom, well, she's a worrier, and thinks you're getting up to no good shenanigans. But let's be real, when you live in the house you live in any trysts with potential suitors goes out the window. Your brother is in college and his schedule is unpredictable, and your mom is a homemaker.
The minute Abbacchio tells the flustered woman to pull up to the window, he returns to shower you with compliments over the headset, calling you the prettiest thing he's ever seen to put on an apron, how cute your angry face looks when you're totally focused on bar, even busting out some cutesy nicknames that make you squirm as you try to finish up your dishes. Strangely enough, everyone else is silent on the headset, letting you and Abbacchio get acquainted with one another to your heart's content, the lull in the conversation only happening when a customer pulls up. Eventually, like all good things, the compliments come to an end and the conversation turns to other topics.
"So you said you live with your mom?" Abbacchio asks after taking an order of five different fraps. You can hear Narancia cussing softly as he has to make each individual drink.
"Yeah, my mom and my big brother." you affirm. "It's the most I can afford in this town. Everything's so goddamn expensive, I couldn't even afford to make the first and last month's rent on the cheapest place in town, and my brother can't move in with me yet since he's doing school full time. But enough about me, what about you?"
"Mm? What about me?" he asks, flirt evident in his voice.
"Which country do I have to thank for that blessed ass accent you have?"
"That's Italy." he laughs. "I've been with the company for over six years, I started out at the reserve roastery in Milan and came here when Buccellati offered me a job. I came on a work visa, and now you can't get rid of me. I'm one of your shift supervisors."
"Well, temp supervisor anyway." you respond rather sadly. "It's too bad this store hadn't been opened before I got hired. Otherwise I would have loved to start here."
"I still think you should transfer." interjects Trish. "No one likes Ogre Street anyways."
"I... I'd have to think about it."
"What's there to think about anyway?" Abbacchio asks, and you stop scrubbing the chocolate pump for a minute. "If you transfer here, I'd get to talk to you every single day. Tips are shit but you can move up if you'd like."
"And the best part is if you transfer here, we can see your huge ass every time you bend over." Mista chimes in.
"MISTA! WE ARE AT WORK!" Bruno sounds exasperated over the headset.
"Oh yeah, my bad boss. I mean to say we can see your venti ass every time you bend over."
Everyone loses their shit for a minute to laugh as Bruno begins to berate the very bad and naughty warming man off headset. Before he mutes, you can hear him threaten disciplinary action, and you can't stop howling in the back. Nearly falling over just thinking about it.
"So how about it cuteness?" Abbacchio asks, and his voice is so warm and inviting you can't help but smile. "Think it's worth us stealing you away to stay here?"
"Yeah... I dunno. Like I said, I'd have to think about it. Besides, I think working here would just give my mommy an excuse to show up more often..."
A shrill sound assaults your ears, the timer, and you sigh.
"Now the age old question..." you wonder aloud, "What the fuck did I brew last?"
"I know we've been selling a lot of medium and dark." Abbacchio replies. "And it's already ten thirty, just cut the blonde and do full batches. Narancia can do pour overs."
"Ah yes," you can hear the mischief in Narancia's voice. "My special americano pour overs."
"You know Narancia, one of these days corporate is gonna walk in and see all the shit you do and your ass is going to get canned." you respond, laughing as you wash your hands in the employee sink before going back out to front.
"Fuck it." he laughs. "It won't bother me none, Buccellati can take care of me with all that Mama Daddy money he's got."
"Oh hey, cara mia, when you come up to front, come to drive. I've got something for you."
That was Abbacchio, and for a hot minute you're almost nervous, like a first date, at the prospect of seeing him face to face.
"Oh yeah? And what would that be?"
"Well," you hear the rustle of the bag, "It's cat shaped, and really cute, like a certain barista I know..."
"OOOOOOOOH DADDY!" you squeal. "You've just made me the happiest girl on earth!"
He's found your weakness. The quickest way for any man to get to your heart is to dangle some motherfucking food in your face, no lie. Even your brother has commented on more than one occasion that if anyone wanted to take you all they had to do was dangle a fucking cupcake in your face and you were toast. And it doesn't help that you called your mom squealing about the cute little kitty shaped cake pops they had out for the season.
“Well? What are you waiting for? Come and get this and we can meet in person."
Ever the one to be lured in with the prospect of free food, you run your ass to the front, nearly bowling over Mista as you skid to a halt at the nook where the drive thru window is located. To your ever lasting shock, you come face to face with the last person you'd ever expect to be flirting with you so boldly.
"Holy shit..." you breathe. "Abbacchio?"
It's the dude who gang faced you the first day you came in, and ironically the one who got fed up with your friend's bar time. Silver hair pulled into a pony tail, glistening purple lips, snatched makeup that's too perfect for a barista... All put together in a black apron. His glare never leaves his face, but maybe... Just maybe, he's like your brother and just has a very bad case of resting bitch face. Because you get a little hopeful when he sees you and his lipstick mouth smiles, beckoning you over with a warming bag in his hand. When Abbacchio reaches in, he pulls out the very treat you've been craving all day since you've seen it. This is the best part of the job. Sometimes some customers forget they get food and never come back, and it just sits there for hours until someone has to throw it away, or they'll change their mind last minute about the food, or worse yet someone on warming (Mista) will fuck up an order and get the wrong sandwich. If it's a sandwich, nine times out of ten you have to toss it, but if it's a sweet treat it's usually fair game for anyone to enjoy since it will just go in the trash. You love to have the mistake foods, sometimes you'll take them to your brother at the college, or more often than not you'll take them home to share with your mother. She loves sweets, and working for a coffee chain she normally can't afford to frequent is such a rare treat that you love to spoil her.
"Oh my god!" you coo, "Is that a kitty cat cake poop just for me??"
"Just for you." he chuckles. "Why do you call it that anyway?"
"I dunno. For some reason the feral part of my brain activates whenever I see words and I just like to play around with them and mutter weird things to myself. I tried telling it to my SM at Ogre Street and he told me I better not call it that, otherwise I might slip and call it a cock pop or something."
He can't help the smile that spreads over his face, and he suddenly gets a very naughty glint in his eye as he twirls the cake pop in your direction.
"So?" he asks. "You made such a big to do about being friendly on the headset. Be a good girl and take a bite of the treat I worked so hard to get for you. Come on, take a big nom nom out of this cock pop~."
You hope and pray that by some stroke of bad luck that no one you know outside of work just heard that. Not one to be shown up when it comes to flirting, you don't miss a beat as you step forward. With a look in your face that would make your mother faint if she knew how filthy you were being, you waste no time in licking a stripe slowly up the cake pop before taking a fat ass bite out of the head. Abbacchio's grin could split his entire face in half, and even more so when you use your teeth to pull the pop stick out of his hand.
"Hey... hunty, question?" it's Trish interrupting the positively predatory stares you and Abbacchio are giving each other. She's been listening in this whole time.
"Yes Trisha my love?" you respond, not taking your eyes off Abbacchio.
"Just one question... Can you eat pussy like that?"
A cacophony of screams and your screech of "NASTY WOMAN" makes Trish lose her shit outside, and Bruno swears up and down from the back office that he's going to write up the next person who says something filthy over headset during his shifts.

A LunaTic and her Gunn (Part 88) "Bad Kids"
@creatureofthen1ght-v3
@lovemythsworld
@crystalbaby12
"FUCK!! What day is it?" Luna asks as she lifts her face after railing another line of 30's.
"Thursday..?" Colson answers her, confused.
"Time?" She asks to his 542P. "Motherfucker..." Luna mutters.
Colson asks What's Up as she lights a joint. Luna missed her therapy session scheduled at 5P, she explains with a sigh.
Taking a moment to call Kylie. Luna assures her, she simply forgot and isn't MIA. She watches Colson snort a long line of Adderall while she's on the phone, puffing on the joint.
Once she's ended the call, she passes it to him as they get dressed. Both in all black. Colson in a black T, black jeans and his Vans. Luna in an oversized, long sleeve black T. Large enough to wear as a dress. Under, she has on sheer black stockings and tight, black spandex shorts. Her Docs, jewelry and a purple lip finishing off her look.
"You're gonna skate in that?" Colson questions her attire.
"Watch me." She replies with a smirk.
"Oh, I fucking will." He grins.
Throwing her school bag of goodies on his back. Colson grabs Luna's ass and their jackets as they head out of their suite.
-------------------------------------------------
The bar at The Ambassador is empty.
Until The Ten of Them pile inside. Loud and rowdy as usual. Taking up the entire wooden row of the bar.
They order drinks as they wait for their table at the Reserve Lounge inside the hotel. An Old Fashioned for Luna and a Heineken for Colson.
Grinning, he whispers into her ear. "You still taste better."
Luna shakes her head with a light laugh. Cheeks turning pink.
"I WANT a ribeye with fried onions and mushrooms. And a fucking baked potato. I don't give a FUCK about anything else." Sam states.
She's sitting to Luna's left, while Colson's on her right. Baze, who's next to Sam, leans up on the bar to look down at Luna.
"Bro. I think your girl's my twin." He laughs. Looking at Sam, then at Luna, finally back at Sam. "We gonna fuck up some beef TONIGHT!! He laughs again as he lifts his drink to Sam's agreement.
"Who we fucking up?" Slim hollers from the other end of the bar.
"BEEF!!!" Sam and Baze shout in unison.
Erupting them both into laughter along with Colson and Luna.
Luna gives her friend a Lil Look. Sam can get along with everyone. Same as she can hold her own against anyone. Being taken advantage by no one. Sam's never been about that Relationship Life. Knowing her friend too well, Luna can read her better then her favorite book. There's a LoveBuzz happening at the bar. Luna reading the signs before Sam can even write them herself.
Luna glances over at Colson. He catches the glimmer in her eye. They both cheese at the idea of their friends together. With no words said. Just One Look.
-------------------------------------------------
Once sat, they continue to converse loudly. The Ten of Them having no volume control. With more drinks and appetizers ordered, they're even louder. And so out of place.
Their server asking his Front of the House manager to watch them. Unaware of who they are and sure of the likelihood that they're gonna Dine N Dash. Feeling dumb upon his boss's explanation.
"I don't know how to skate..." Ashleigh complains after they order.
She's one of three. Benny, nor Bullet grind either. AJ being an undercover SkaterBoy to Luna's unknown intrigue.
"There's one of those Rent-A-Bike stations in front." Rook chimes in.
"You want MY ass on a BIKE!??" Benny asks in disbelief.
"Weeble Wobbles Weeble but they don't fall down!" Luna grins at her friend from across their dinner table.
Benny laughs. He adores Luna, he has since that night at the strip club. He fears her too. Being from NYC also, he knows what she's connected to.... And fully aware of what she's capable of on her own.
"Ya gonna catch me Brooklyn, if I weeble too far?" Benny teases.
"Fucken' right, Benz." Luna grins at him, arms open wide.
Somehow, he knows that although he's the bodyguard and Luna's tiny as fuck. THAT Brooklyn Bitch would have him should ANYTHING erupt. It's who she is.
"We riden!!!" Benny shouts to Bullet's complete bemusement.
Bullet doesn't know Luna. He thinks he likes her but he's not sure, not having any experience to trust her. Irritated with Benny, he eats his steak and sips his wine.
The Other Nine of Them are as happy as fat clams. Engaged, boisterous and fully enjoying each other. Filling their bellies with food before The Magic.
Bullet doesn't know yet.... But he will.
-------------------------------------------------
After a paid for dinner and proper tip, they head to The Bus.
Climbing on, all of them bursting with delicious goodness. Passing eight joints between The Ten of Them, they settle their bellies easily. All full. All sighing.
Sam pops up first. That Bitch wants them slushies.
Scooping the WHOLE jar, all Ten of Them wind up with full solo cups of Magic. Like fucking water ice. Sam handing out a plastic spoon with each of their solo cup treats.
"I shouldn't eat this...." Bullet confides in Benny.
"You won't survive this night if you don't." Benny reassures him as he takes a bite of sweet, delicious Magic Slushies.
Poor Bullet. He thinks he knows... But he has no idea.
-------------------------------------------------
Splitting from The Bus, they head over to the Light District on boards and bikes. Obliging Ashleigh's one request.
"It's FUCKING closed!!???!!!" She shouts in frustration.
Kansas City's Light District closes at 5P. What THE fuck kinda shit is that?? Seriously... Why?
Ashleigh's really upset. All agreeing with her that It's Bullshit.
Luna asking her if she'd like Her to Burn it Down.
Ashleigh answers with a laughing and adoring NO. The Magic of Wild Mushrooms creeping around her brain. She appreciates Luna's brass love for her, but Ashleigh isn't violent. Never has been.
"Let's find somewhere else." She coaxes her defender as she climbs back on her rented bike.
--------------------------------------------------
Rolling through Kansas City, they're tripping their BALLS and PUSSIES off. Colors are streaking. Bodies are loose. The school bag packed with water instead of alcohol. Luna handing off bottles to everyone's gratitude.l
Lighting a joint as they roll through Kansas City. Luna passes it to Sam. Colson has his own lit. Passing it to Slim.
Firing another, Luna slows her pace. Riding beside Bullet, she grins. Hitting it multiple times before she speaks...
"I'm not THAT bad. I promise." A wink and grin following her words as she passes him the joint before pushing off to fly past him.
-------------------------------------------------
"Fuck you ain't...." Bullet thinks as she passes him. Amused by the tiny blonde girl and her wild punch.
------------------------------------------------
They skate and bike around Kansas City. Watching the lights as they laugh. Passing joints and water amongst themselves as they eat their Magic Slushies.
Sliding up on a corner, Colson stops.
"Where the fuck are we?" He asks confused.
"In the Dark Pits of Hell, where we belong!!" Luna laughs, snapping his picture in the moment.
"He's so fucking beautiful." She thinks, not being able to stop her grandfather from lingering in her soul.
"C'mon Lovey!!" She shouts as they boot, scoot and boogie.
Ashleigh can't hold her shit together. Tripping balls, she doesn't know how to make the bike work anymore.
"Can we sit?" She pleads.
Always one to spot a park, Luna's on it.
"Come on, Buddy." She says, grabbing the back of Ashleigh's seat along with a handle bars.
Pushing Ashleigh along with ALL of Luna's force. There's a park ahead. The Holy Grail of her ENTIRE existence.
"We're almost there, Boo!" Luna's wide smile encourages Ashleigh's tired legs.
Hitting the park, Ashleigh drops her bike like a rock.
"Uggghhhh....." She exhales.
Luna grabs her board and Ashleigh's hand as the others arrive. She's undoubtedly Their Leader.
-------------------------------------------------
After swinging and climbing and running around the playground, they tire like little kids. Finding the perfect spot, Luna slips her bag off Colson's shoulders. Pulling out sheets as she displays them in front of their view.
All Ten of Them admire the glowing sight of Kansas City. Some standing in amazement, others sitting on the sheets in awe.
They're tripping their souls out as they stare into the sky line. Colors crossing and dancing. Bodies tingling as their third eyes see everything.
Laying and talking. The Ten of Them are curled upon the sheets, melting their faces off.
Pulling out her bag of tricks, Luna hands Colson four tennis balls to his delight. Face shining, he hops up to juggle them.
Next, she produces crayons and coloring books. Laying them out, they're grabbed by Ashleigh and Rook.
Slim finds the Nerf football. Sam jumping up for a solid toss.
Baze is stuck on the ground. Luna lighting a joint. Hitting it hard, she hands it to him.
"Fucken' Loons, Maaan..." Is all he can say in accepting pleasure.
AJ is lost in the stars on the sheets also. Magic Slushies winning. Luna handing him his own joint to his delight.
Benny is running around with Sam and Slim. Bullet still as a statue.
"Did you not drink the Kool-Aid...." Luna asks.
She had noticed his solid demeanour. Tall, strong. Relentless.
Arms crossed, he admits he had a scoop or two.
"Only a SCOOP!! BRO!!" Luna looks at him with disappointment. "We're not so crazy that you can't enjoy yourself, Sugar." Luna tries to reassure him. "I can't believe you didn't eat your slush." Luna looks at him, irritated. "What a fucking waste."
"I knooooww." Bullet sheepishly admits.
"Well, lucky YOU, Motherfucker!!" Luna grins.
She always has a secret stash. Pulling out a small container of pure mushrooms, she insists he eats them with her. NOW.
Luna's a rock when it comes to negotiating. Bullet sharing and eating the full half ounce she has stashed.
She grins as they chew. Her bright smile welcoming him into Her World.
There's a LOT going on in their group. Rook and Ashleigh are happily coloring. Slim, Sam, Benny and AJ toss the Nerf ball. Baze is still SO lost in the sky on his back.
Luna grabs Colson, dragging Baze and Bullet with them. It's football time, she calls to Benny.
"Hut!! Hut!!" Luna shouts to their colorful minds.
Their game is a ShitShow. It's hilarious to watch them toss, tumble and roll amongst themselves. None can see correctly and all of them have noodle legs.
Somehow, Luna can throw and avoid getting caught. Easily scoring a 14 to 0.
"Mothafucka, WHAT?... Mothafucka WHO??? Luna laughs.
She's never been a gracious winner. Laughing too hard.
She's caught by a "Fuuuck yooou?!!"
Along with a loving, grinning, full on body hit from Sam. They roll in the grass, wrestling and laughing. Each calling Uncle when they find themselves locked on their sides.
--------------------------------------------------
Laying in the night's sky, life comes into view. Playing Cold War Kids on one of their phones. Music drifts softly.
All Ten sprawled on sheets, they catch the beauty of Kansas City. Laying together in harmony.
Until Colson wants to take Luna away.
"Come're..." He begs
"Hmmmm..." She rolls her head up towards him.
Eyes dancing as she absorbs is face. Their colorful ensemble watching the stars like 4th graders at the Planetarium for the first time.
Colson grabs Luna's hand, pulling her out of the hype.
Yards away with only his phone, Colson holds Luna tight. She's the only one he's ever danced with outside of Casie and weird Middle School stuff. Tripping his face off, he's overwhelmed with feelings for Luna. His beloved.
In the darkness with just them two, Colson holds Luna close and firm. The lyrics to the original Swing Life Away swirl behind them. Causing Colson to hold Luna tighter then ever.
🎶Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words🎶
He sings softly, ducking his head into her ear.
She loves him. So fucking much. More then she could've ever imagined. Those blue eyes that see right into her soul. Those fingers that know every inch of her body. That heart that just fucking gets it.
Their love is fresh in her brain. Breaking her heart as her soul ignites. Believing him as sings to her that they Could Get By Just Fine on Minimum Wage.
Luna can't handle it and starts to cry. The drugs have her overwhelmed. Feelings flying everywhere. Heart dangling on her long sleeve.
"Please don't fucking die." She whimpers into Colson's chest.
He holds her as she gently sobs.
His mind is twisting too. Making him not sure of what to say. Then it pops.
"Cockroach." He states like he's answering the most important question of his life.
This stops Luna. Colson's words sliding inside her body, wrapping themself around her heart.
Feeling her sigh, he scoops her off the ground as if he's going to carry her over a threshold. With her arms draped around him, they stare into each other's trusting eyes. No words need to be said. They're the only two in the world right now. Luna strokes his cheek, as Colson leans in to kiss her.
There's a whole body explosion happening between the two of them once their lips touch. It's part drugs but mostly insatiable love.
Not even caring, in their own world, Colson slowly brings himself and Luna to the ground. Never breaking their kiss. He runs his hands though her hair, making her brain tingle.
Climbing on top of her, he holds himself up as her hands slowly trail his body. Their touch is almost orgasmic as he sucks on her neck and she slides her hands down his pants. Gripping his ass.
His free hand up her shirt dress. Sliding under her bra, playing with her nipple peircing. Pulling at her shorts.
"I need to be inside of you." Colson says in between kissing her neck and face.
"Mhhhmmm." Luna agrees.
He pulls down his pants as Luna slides out of the shorts. She doesn't understand her stockings though. Both too far gone to figure out how to get them off. Taking off her Docs not even an actual thought for either.
Colson reaches back into his pants. Pulling Luna towards him by the crotch of her tights, he stretches them out as he flicks his blade open.
Luna's heart immediately begins to race as he brings the knife towards her pussy. Slitting a hole through her tights, he rips them open. She bites her lip as she watches him.
Both of their bodies throbbing for the other. Mouths salivating as they look upon each other.
The world EXPLODES as Colson slowly slides into Luna. Both moaning out a pleased FUCK.
Colson takes his time. Gliding along Luna's clenched walls. Every inch and touch is overwhelming. If he goes to fast, he's convinced he may die.
Luna can't handle anything. Dying a thousand tiny deaths as she clings to him. Shifting into his rhythm. Kissing his mouth and face. She has to keep her eyes closed. Looking at him is too much. Fearing her heart will explode from his blue eyes.
They could've fucked for 5mins or 5hrs. They have no idea. Luna having multiple mental and physical orgasms before Colson allows himself to let loose.
Laying inside and on top of her, Colson feels at ease. There's no place in the world he'd rather be. This moment being one of his most content in life.
"I love you, Kitten." He breathes out.
"Mmmm... I love you." Luna mummers into his neck with her legs still holding him close.
"ARE YOU TWO FUCKING AGAIN!!??!" Sam shouts across the field.
Colson pulls his face out of Luna's hair to look at her. His face is still too beautiful for her.
"Jesus fucking Christ. She's like the kid sister I never had." Colson's wide eyes say in amazement.
Making Luna laugh, he pops out of her.
"An annoying kid sister." He says with a pout.
Shifting down, Colson lays on Luna's chest. Stroking his hair, they enjoy their bliss for a bit more before they rejoin the others.
"Yeah, we were Fucking. Kid Sister." Colson states as him and Luna climb back into the pile.
Who you talking too?" Ashleigh asks, confused.
"Ol sex police Sam over here." He tells her to the group's laughter.
"You're like fucking rabbits." Sam shoots back.
"That's why she calls me Bunny." Colson states matter of fact, making Luna roll on her side in a fit of giggles. It's funny because it's true.
All of their bodies riding private rollercoasters as their brains link back up. The Ten of Them talk about life, aliens, what they think God may be, if they'd like to live under the sea like Sponge Bob and all kinds of other weird shit. Figuring out the key to life. Love and friendship. Even Bullet enjoying himself.
--------------------------------------------------
Back at the Ambassador no one wants to separate. The Boys drag mattresses from the other rooms to Colson and Luna's suite. It's sleepover time again.
Collecting water for everyone, Luna dutifully passes out Xanax along with vitamins D and B6 to aid in their recovery.
Surrounded by pillows, blankets and love, they watch reruns Rugrats. Burning and laughing as they slowly come down.
Laying with Colson wrapped behind her, Luna feels so at peace. Her eyes are closed as he strokes her hair.
"I'm so fucking in love with you.... I can see it radiating off of us." Colson says with his eyes closed too.
Opening her eyes, Luna jumps off the mattress. Body flying across the room.
"IT'S NOT OUR LOVE!!! THE FUCKING TRASH CAN'S ON FIRE!!!" She shouts.
Grabbing it, she hauls ass into the bathroom. Tossing it into the tub before turning on the water.
Everyone is kinda numb, shocked or can't comprehend what just happened. Bullet taking notice that Luna's quick.
Climbing back into Colson, Luna asks What The Fuck Is Up With Them and Fire. He shakes his head, not knowing. Kissing the back of hers, he holds her firmly as they fall asleep together.
Benny turning to Bullet. Giving him a knowing eye, he warns that Tonight Was Easy.
He'll get it eventually.
