why is there so much kelpie erasure on this sight. it's all "merfolk this" and "selkie that." what about the kelpies.
#i saw TWO different polls involving selkies today#one of which was 'which mythica water creature would you be!!'#and it listed mermaids and selkies (the usual) and then two asian creatures#and then made up a scuba diving armadillo named bessy#like sure kelpies are horse-like but they also drown people in lakes so#if a scuba diving armadillo counts but a kelpie doesn't....#i had a “how to draw mythical creatures” book when i was a kid and it had kelpies in there and that's how i learned about them#kelpies are cool tumblr would love kelpies why are there no kelpies here#unityrain.txt#kelpie#mermaid#merfolk#selkie
