As a very general statement, if you out your girlfriend knowing full well you're going to break up with her because she denied your relationship in the first place . . .

Then, like, DON'T OUT HER!

She denied your relationship

You get upset that she has closeted both of you

You decide to out her (and her cousin)

You break up with her

As a petty person, this is counterproductive.

You do not out someone just to break up with her for not being out. You outing her forcibly solved your initial problem, so it is only decent to stick around to clean up the mess you made! Because if she wants to stay in the closet when you want to be out, that's a discussion in which you either go along with it or break up with her. You don't drop bombs then bounce.

GMMTV and these damn wildcard conflicts where one character blows everything up instead of listening to their partner, so the partner has to apologize for . . . existing.

Thank heavens for these teachers right now trying to hold these kids together with duct tape and zip ties while also having their little side romance.
