I don't even understand the point of fandom bullshit that's invented and easily refuted by paying two seconds of attention to the thing you're criticising. There's plenty of stuff I have a kneejerk reaction to that I choose to ignore and subsequently don't devote any emotional energy to. If I'm actually impassioned about something and genuinely annoyed by it then it better actually be grounded in substance. If it weren't something truly objectionable then I'd be happy.

#fanon my nemesis #'solas stalks lavellan in her dreams' she reaches out to him #it's right there. right in the ending slide #it is textual it is not subtextual #if I were concerned about 'stalking' (lol) I'd be happy that it is textually not stalking and then go find something else to occupy myself #but you know it's not really about that!!!!!! because conversations about the text don't matter!!!!!!#and I know I can have illogical kneejerk reactions to things or associate people I don't like with harmless media #this fandom turned me off pyrrha for a long enough time and refuses to accept the only thing which makes her interesting *is* her tragedy #because otherwise (without that) she's basically just a male fantasy character #and painfully uninteresting #but I also know that's partly my kneejerk reaction because of miserable fucks #and largely R/WBY avoids the issue of poorly written female characters/objectification etc.#which is baffling and impressive
