dog idc we went through the "don't try to fix your partner" arc already and I refuse to believe we're doing it again. trying to fix someone's bone malunion because they hurt and you can do magic IS misguided but it's not the same as blorbofying your partner. you can't fix him but not in like a metaphor for a savior complex way. it's more because you don't understand osteotomies
