How I feel after having to rewire the dryer since my dad did the wiring incorrectly and made our breaker insta-trip and then panicking and freaking out thinking I did something wrong after successfully turning it on but it smelling somewhat burnt but it turns out sometimes new dryers just smell a lil funky on the first run :

First picture is how my dad did it by straight up guessing lmao, the middle pictures are screenshots I took from a YouTube video (the black and red wires are interchangeable so it's fine that mine are opposite of theirs) and then the final one is my re-wiring job 😤😤😤
