people joke a lot about "supervillains with anti-capitalist/ecological/etc. motives also being extra super evil in other ways just to undermine the validity of their radical ideological arguments" is joked about a lot but in case people forgot how often this happens, this is a real panel from Invincible that exemplifies this trope so succinctly that it's hilarious
