I can't help but be sad actually. I learned about the holocaust of ww2 extensively in school. Even when we didn't go over it in depth it was talked about how awful it was. At least for jewish people.
Now as an adult I've learning about the Romani that were persecuted in the same genocide, and now about the other genocides committed by Germany.
I can't help but wonder why certain lives are worth remembering over the other victims of colonialism/genocide.
