hiii hello so we are just going to go out on a limb here and ask if it'd be cool with you if we wrote some kind of fanfic based on / set in what we understand to be your post canon setting for isat? we might just spend a bunch of time thinking about scenarios within it rather than write any actual fanfiction But we have definitely strayed into Wanting To terrain so we wanna ask before we get too caught up in the idea. your take is awesome and we know we've been putting our thoughts in our reblog tags but at this point we are runnning out of "normal words" there are emotions only poetry masquerading as prose fanfiction can convey now. anyway totally understand if not Have a good day !

My musings on postcanon are vague at best and lightly self-contradictory anyway so its not exactly a 'setting' anyone could Fuck Up since 1. its not really Mine per se (it is a fanwork. and to me fanworks are just kind of... for other fans?? to me?? idk lol. like i didnt make the canon lol im not staking claim or authority on anything it feels weird) and 2. i think like the only solid 'plot points' in my perception of postcanon i bash dolls together in is like. Loop came back only a couple months at max while the party was still travelling around After picking up Nille (ambiguous vague timing) and they and Siffrin are going through great pains to obfuscate loops identity because theyre sure that for some reason they are paranoid revealing this would be Bad. and then just all the shit i detailed re: isabeau torment nexus. so like. these three posts (x) (x) (x). and uh. yeah thats like it. i dont keep a clear order of events in my head at all i just think its fun to maximise polycule disaster bullshit for whats probably outright Months before resolving it into "oh okay theyre together now its okay guys dont worry" in whatever level of romance through qpr that you please. which as someone who thinks the whole party is just gonna fall into some weird fucking extended qpr-polycule inevitably im sure u can assume my thoughts are similarly. vague as hell and mildly contradcictory. again.

When did you start writing?

Okay, so I remember poorly attempting trying to write like multiple books in elementary school, but never made it past getting through the first chapter, so, I'm going to go have to go with 12, when I was determined to write a novel series (that I have long since changed the concept of like five times and havent touched in four years [have this other series i'm focusing on instead]).

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

I'm gonna say romance? I can do it as a subplot, but not focus on it. Although I aspire to write a romance novel one day as a challenge

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

Not really. I feel like every writer has one thing they do really well, and I hope that I'll find my thing too one day. As for comparision... never, although I'm curious to know if anyone has someone in mind.

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

Either my bed or couch with a cup of coffee. Both involve me listening to the angtiest song I can think of that matches the vibes I'm feeling.

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

Music (recurring theme here). Normally I can come up with a scene based on what I'm listening to. From there, I just let myself fantasize about it until I have a more concrete idea.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

Does angst count? Because I love writing it. I guess self-deprication? Not really surprised.

What is your reason for writing?

On one end, its an escape for me and I find joy in doing it. On the other end, I hope that for someone, they find comfort in my words.

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

Idk? I guess, I just that when I post things, they get excited?

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

uhhh, angst? Really getting deep into a characters emotions over something that makes them feel negatively in some way. Exploring the sources of that angst, and how it impacts other things.

How do you feel about your own writing?

In general, I would say that I can feel myself improving the more I do it, and that makes me glad.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

Defintely a mix of both. For my fics especially, but it trickles into my original work. Like, I write how I feel it should go, but constantly think about how it would make others feel reading.

I have a crop & resize action that sharpens them very slightly afterward, and then my base lighting action simply boosts the shadows and contrast a bit; I have a copy of that but with brightening added for dim pictures. For posed, "fancy" pictures, I will edit them individually to get whatever effect I want.

25. What expansion/game/stuff pack do you want next? Space EP, space EP! I know we're not actually getting new EPs for TS2, but I can dream.

Hmmmmmmmmmm, Amaya loves every bit of Astarion but if she had to pick one specific part it would either be his ears or his hands. I actually don’t think they have any :3 Maybe that they kept their relationship a secret for a while mainly because Amaya knew Gale was into her but didn’t want to hurt his feelings (didn't want him to blow up lol). When he found out about the relationship a lot of shit happened where Astarion and Gale did not like each other for a bit :/ They do end up being very good friends though after the rough patch.

E = Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)

I think they have similar backgrounds, they both brought victims to Bhaal or Cazador. In Amaya’s case she's a little different than Astarion, she barely remembers what happened but still experiences dissociation when something happens like if someone starts to hit on her or tries something then her brain just stops working. 

F = Favorite position (This goes without saying)

Missionary or cowgirl style. Astarion prefers missionary with his head buried into her neck or even reverse cowgirl the first few times so he could avoid having her see him not fully be there but after the first 2 times he realizes he enjoys it thoroughly with only her and that's when he LOOOOOVES staring into her eyes as they both fall apart within one another.

Depends on the day lol they have very serious “I’m so in love with you, no one else is for me but you” like after the battle with Orin and Amaya died kind of day, or having makeup sex after Astarion and Amaya had an argument (they love each other deeply but those two butt heads a lot especially how Amaya puts everyone but herself first lol) orrrrrr they are just being big goobers and one makes a joke during it and they both end up laughing hard.

It certainly wouldn't stop them though, they had quickies in the Underdark, and mountain pass. After game, it would probably be their shared bed or any room in their mansion. (Astarion used his magistrate degree to get a good deal on a mansion just outside the upper city :3)

M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going?)

Hmmm, for Astarion probably anything Amaya does he thinks is attractive. When she gives into her little bhaalspawn self is probably when he gets the most motivated. That's when she intimidates people lol, shes very funny when she intimidates people too. When she told a dwarf that they were going to fly out of the tower if they said another word to her when they were going to fight Cazador was probably when he realized how turned on he gets when she's finally being mean to others LOL. 

Amaya gets motivated when Astarion is being genuine with her. Soft little moments when they are spending time with one another like if he’s reading to her in their shared tent and is making silly voices to go along with the story is when she gets the most turned on by him. It's because he can be himself around her without putting on a show.

N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)

They are monogamous so they would never ever share with someone else. I headcannon Astarion being very jealous so if they were to share then that would send Astarion into a frenzy. Amaya of course is also jealous whenever someone tries to hit on Astarion but it's not like when Astarion gets jealous. There had been quite a few fights between the two regarding this but it was mainly because Astarion didn’t know how to process jealousy because well he never experienced it until he met Amaya. He HATED when every party member tried to hit on Amaya, the man was literally seething lol. It's why he does not get along with Halsin at all because everyone else backed off when they made their relationship somewhat official in Act 2 and the man still tried it with Amaya.

Both love receiving and giving, Astarion prefers to give more and tease Amaya a lot.

Again, it depends on the day. Its usually slow and sensual in the beginning but then becomes fast and rough towards the end.

Hmmmmmm, I don’t think so. They like to keep it simple and to be sure neither one of them gets overwhelmed if they were to take risks.

Astarion can go for a long time, Amaya can too but probably after the 3 round is when they call quits. Mainly to be sure neither one of their heads go to a bad place. The two beans have a lot of trauma :(

In the game no they do not, but doesn’t mean they aren’t open to getting any after game!

U = Unfair (How much they like to tease)

Astarion is the king of teasing Amaya, but thats fine becauase Amaya gets back at him most of the time hehe.

Astarion knows how to make Amaya scream his name. Astarion on the other hand I think is fairly quiet, but will moan and groan when he can no longer hold it in.

Ahhhh my fave headcanon is they both gain a little weight throughout the game and also post-game :)))))

Amaya, despite being very thin in act 1 and 2 is still very curvy and when she gains weight it really accentuates her curves. Astarion, we know what he looks like lol but by act 3 and post game he has gained some weight and you could probably tell. His figure is fuller and his cheeks are a little chubby lol. I always headcanon that Cazador gets very mad when he realizes that Astarion had been finally feeding.

Pretty high but also not?? Idk if that makes sense like they both crave one another all the time but they could probably go months without having sex especially if either one of them needs time to heal.

Amaya falls asleep cuddling him usually. Astarion usually trances for a bit but mainly he is holding her and probably watching her snooze away. Amaya before durge events in act 3 had really bad nightmares and would sometimes try to kill in her sleep. Astarion likes to keep watch over her so she doesn't 1 try to kill him lol and 2 make sure she doesn't hurt herself. Unfortunately, this has caused her to accidentally stab him in the arm a few times or he had to manhandle her to stop sleepwalking or shake her awake if he can tell she's having a really bad dream which happened more often than it should. 

After game events of course she still gets night terrors but she no longer sleep kills but I think out of habit Astarion will always watch over her. He was always protective of the little murder baby.

·         SMUT: mindless smut sometimes is good in the sense it’s self-indulgent for me, but if it’s overdone, i do get burnt out really quickly. i usually reserve smut for closer rp partners or more established ships, but sometimes i’ll open it up to flings to explore new relationships and situations with muses. but tbh, one of my fave kind of smut is the kind that allows for a lot of exploration of a muse’s sexuality. not just who they’re attracted to but also just like, them learning how to manage and cope with sexual desire, sexual activities, and sexual exploration overall. i especially love this with alison because her perspective is skewed as a result of some trauma, so i always enjoy letting her explore her sexuality with other muses.

          /I like shipping as much as the next guy, even for as shy as I am and how much I beat around the bush. Part of it is because maybe I’m just too old-fashioned; I like finding chemistry through writing with another muse, and frankly some muses click together better than others.

          And for as much as I might be excited about a potential ship, I don’t want to make it seem like I’m bulldozing over their development and just jumping straight to bumping uglies. That just feels disingenuous to me, like I would be taking advantage of my writing partner solely for acting out my own fantasies with their character, though don’t get me wrong; I like me some smut, too. Just when it feels right and there’s a connection between the characters. A spark, if you will.

          On another note, I don’t like when I feel I’m the only one invested in a ship, or when I receive little to no response about continued interest from my ship partner. I get that sometimes I can be overly enthusiastic and maybe a bit over the top; but whenever I seldom get ships that are just straight-up bangers, I hoard them like precious jewels and think about them. A lot. It gives me serotonin throughout the day and whenever I see something that reminds me of our ship dynamic, I’ll probably send it you or at least tag you in it so you can join in the fun.

          But if I’m the only one expressing an interest in our ship or if I hear nothing back but radio silence for weeks on end, then I’m probably going to lose interest myself and eventually drop it. It’s sad and disappointing, but it happens. No use crying over spilled milk.

Yes and no. This is a trick answer. On the one hand I’m not and on the other hand I am? I get the ship feels very fast if our interaction/plotting sparks the Chemistry Feel, but also the Chemistry Feel is very specific and if I don’t feel it, I don’t feel it. IDK if that’s selectivity or just......normal shipping. 

And then there’s also the fact that in general if our muses have a canon relationship, odds are that I probably ship them and want to write shippy stuff. B u t the kicker with all of that is that I don’t like shipping with someone just based off a canon connection bc there is every possibility that I will figure out later on that our portrayals don’t mesh very well or that I don’t actually have the Chemistry Feel from between our muses during the interaction, and I like...I never want to ship for the sake of having the ship? Does one have to ask to ship with you?

Yes. Please. Even if it’s a canon ship that you know explicitly I ship, honestly.  Please always ask. If you’re too shy to ask, send me an ask with “<3?” or smth, and I ‘ l l take it upon myself to hop into your IMs and guess which ship we might want to talk about until I get it right. 99% of the time I’ll say yes, but it’s just 1) good manners 2) good to let me know? because sometimes we’re writing something vaguely shippy but I would just like the verbal confirmation? it’s almost like my muse poking yours and being like “so are we dating now” except it’s me poking you and being like “are we shipping now??” 

And also sometimes our muses have clear chemistry but I have Hard Lines on how I ship with that muse (i.e.....Anatole). Or sometimes I don’t really want to ship, and your muse might just have to have unrequited feelings.

How often do you like to ship?

I am a l w a y s onboard when there’s chemistry. If my muse is making heart eyes obviously I can’t stop them lmao. Likewise if they’re really not feeling it....sorry nah.

I’m not ship-obsessed but I think ships are fun, and I would like ships for my muses. I spent a long time doing rp like...avoiding ships, bc they were generally not a part of the rp experience that I really enjoyed, based on past experience? But now I’ve got the Most Wonderful Ship Partners and while I don’t n e e d ships, I know that I want them!

COMMUNICATION!! Plotting! You can skip the initial interaction thread and hop straight into my IMs/Discord if you want, but plotting is the most important element I can think of when it comes to shipping with me. Always let me know what’s going on. Always build on our character relationships. And like..........tell me outright if you wanna ship!!

i'm pretty open to writing a lot as long as both my partner and i are comfortable! we'd definitely have to discuss anything if it's questionable, but as i said, i'm pretty open to writing a lot. i love shipping, so very much. i don't want it to be the main focus of this blog but i am very open to the idea of it.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

this is something that depends on the situation. like, magnus is 200+ years so there's a good chance he's going to be older than most he's shipped with so sdfsd it all depends.

as much as i love shipping, yes. there HAS to be chemistry between the muses. they just have to click somehow or it won't work. but i feel like ?? i'm really easy to ship with? idk i just like to be really open about everything because you can find the most beautiful things in the most unexpected pairs!

uhhh, idk?? if there's touching i guess? i p much tag anything that i think may be nsfw, even if it isn't just to be on the safe side. but if there are moans and touching, i'd consider that nsfw bc things can happen wink wonk!!!

listen, like i said, i love to ship. if our characters have interacted and there's some sort of spark, i already ship it. i'm the worst, but i can't help but see the potential in something, even if we haven't written together and it's partially why i get so nervous about approaching people to write sometimes bc i don't want it to come off as all i care about are ships. i care about the relationships and how they're built and the work that goes into them.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:

absolutely. I don't auto-ship. If my muse is canonically in a relationship, i usually find a way to make it so they aren't. honestly, if you see / feel potential, just come @ me in the ims or discord if you've got me there. come @ me too if you want to try!! it doesn't hurt to try and there is unrequited love that's always so. much. fun. to write.

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?:

as much as Noah really says he doesn’t have a type, he does. He’s really crushing hard on Azedia ( @nvrcmplt​ ), and while I wouldn’t say he’s in love with Azedia just yet (  because for noah to fall in love, that’s going to take time ), he really adores the man. Of course, there’s other characters i could see Noah eventually gaining crushes on or already has crushes on, but Azedia sparks the most emotions inside of him. There’s always the fact that Azedia being an angel might have something to do with Noah’s gravitation towards him ( even if Noah himself doesn’t know this yet ), but really, Noah thinks Azedia is the most precious thing in the world. Which is kinda funny, considering who Azedia is and that to anyone else, he’s intimating af. 

Noah isn’t completely oblivious tho. he knows there’s something a little “abnormal” about Azedia. Paired with Noah having 0 idea what Azedia does for a living. At this point, Noah’s a tiny bit afraid to ask, bc Azedia has mentioned before that he deals with blood a lot, and Noah still sits and wonders what that could possibly mean. is azedia a doctor? a cop? he only wants to think of the positives, he doesn’t want to remove the heart shaped glasses he wears when looking at the first person he’s developed real, genuine feelings for. 

i also LIVE for the fact that Noah is opening up more to Azedia, and isn’t afraid to be his worst self around the guy. Before, Noah was kinda reserved, and held off being weird and goofy in fear that Azedia would take it the wrong way. From the beginning, ( without realizing it ) Noah’s always been attracted to Azedia so he wanted to play it Cool and Collected. But now, he’s as comfortable enough with the angel as he is with his close friends, and this might have to do with Azedia also admitting his returned feelings for Noah.
