Y'all I was so looking forward to getting new ear piercings after a year of wanting to get them but not being able to because I was in such environments where I would risk infection and now I finally wouldn't be risking that and I even started to sleep on the other side than I want to get pierced and all that, I have even chosen some piercing studios and I literally wanted to try to get an appointment this week if possible and if not just asap but I just realized I can't get them because I need to wear my headphones for prolonged time periods every day I am so heartbroken T-T

#tbh still tempted to get at least a second earlobe piercing #because my headphones don't really touch it or at least I can wear them in a way where they don't touch it #and if I clean the headphones and the piercing regularly it should be fine right T-T #like the last thing I want to deal with during first semester is an infected piercing but also I have already waited for so long #idk should I get it after the semster ends and before exams begin? I probably won't need to wear headphones as much then and won't wear ski #helmet either because it will be too early for ski slopes to open #and hopefully it would heal over Christmas holidays before exams #god I don't know #(also when I say environments where I would risk infection I mean liek a very dusty place or wearing a helmet #not like climbing through the sewers or not being able to take a shower just so you know)
