About Cass:

Oldest living member of the HSO, a spy organisation owned by elves. The world she exists in is one where humans and elves are not really all that friendly, and as a halfling she works for the elves to spy on humans. Due to the dangerous work she does and elves general disregard for their halfling citizens, Cass living to 47 is quite remarkable. She has a complicated relationship with her technically-adopted-but-it-doesn't-feel-like-it son Cyrus that isn't quite akin to parent and child.
