really breaks my heart when I look into a tag for the memes and jokes and it’s young people terrified for their future
#as someone who is sex-repulsed and went through a suicidal ideation related to it: I'm now in a place where I can joke about it#but there's a different feeling of sadness and fear seeing younger people saying the exact same shit I felt back then#idk how to word this but as you get older you get a lot more opportunities to decide things indeppendently#and whether or not you do that is one of those things#but ik it's really hard to see that kind of future if you have no experience with that#idk it's just kind of shitty despite visibility/activist efforts that a lot of people still feel that scared and desperate
