remember when Sonic was dying and in pain and experiencing memory loss via space computer disease and all his friends were like "i think i need to go my own way" aka talking about leaving him to go on their own journeys to find themselves. do you fucking remember when Sonic was in pain and alone. because i do

#aughhhhhh frontiers had so much character stuff that was setting up for future mainline games and im SO CURIOUS what the hell is next up #because there was so much growth in this game!!! so much change was incited!!!#in 3 characters who have been around since basically the beginning!!#this feels so different to characters reaching their UnderstandingTM in other sonic games-#because these are well and truly Sonic's closest friends. Inspiring action and change in them - as he usually does with people -#will affect their relationships going forward!!!#and good for them good for them. only question is now what does this mean for Sonic?#he's risked his life for them time & time again and they're all getting ready to try new things. learn and grow and see where it takes them #but what about Sonic? what will he do in their absence? how will he FEEL about their absence?#if Sonic is not also newly readying himself for a big change... how will their changes affect him?#idk if this makes sense maybe I'm just too invested in the hypotheticals (and Sonic's emotions lol)#i just wanna know where these guys are headed!! i want to see the story of Frontiers change things going forward!! including for Sonic!!#sonic frontiers #sticks can talk!?
