hi anon!! of course!! the key to this is to get a website that makes an html code for you to paste into tumblr. there are a lot of these but i use this one:

once you open it you'll see this

the top box is where you can add whatever text you want:

then you can pick the gradient/setting:

for fics i use the horizontal and pick 2 colours, but for my theme i used the solid colour and picked 3 different shades of pink to alternate

so here's an example of what i picked out, the text, gradient, and colours

it'll preview what it will look like under step 5 ^^

the code you want to copy is the 'html code for this text'. you'll want to copy all of it (it can get long) and then go to tumblr

we'll make a new post and you'll want to click on the gear icon at the top right corner

it'll pop up a menu and you should go down to 'text editor' and select the html option

once you select that option, you'll get a new formatting menu on the post. we have the html menu and the preview now

so now we can paste the html code that we just copied

and now once you go to the preview menu it'll look like this!!

you can format and adjust it like normal text now using the preview menu and get smth like this :D

limited tags anon ♡ if you do end up just doing everyone each chapter and the only problem for you is the tags, then when you reach the limit and start to exceed it, you could post like. like a preview here on tumblr with a link to the full fic on ao3, and just post the same preview post multiple times with different tags so that eventually all the guys will be tagged? idk i guess you could get away with just posting the full fic on tumblr multiple times with the excess tags and achieve the same result. im not sure, i just hope you dont reach the 20 tag limit too soon </3

I'll probably just continue to post like how I usually do and will reblog it with extra tags to see if it'll work in the reblog. For AO3, it won't be an issue since AO3 allows so many tags. I had reached the limit of tags before in the past and had to delete some tags in order to fit the tags for other characters in the story.

My other concern is being able to tag people in my posts since the previous post (Seal of Disapproval) did not let me tag a few people in the post. So, for those that I cannot tag at all (like their settings are off when it comes to being able to be tagged in posts), I will remove them and add those who had theirs turned on.

But either way, I did reach my tagging limit, and people will, unfortunately, not be able to be tagged in my posts. As much as I wanted to tag more people (it was the error that I came across before publishing Seal of Disapproval), I won't be able to do that and will have to close the taglist forms :(
