the thing abt having a sister 12 years younger than you is that eventually they will go to your old high school and be taught by people you went to high school with . whom they will see as Adults in the irrefutable sense and then come home to someone who is the exact same age as their teacher who lays about and plays pokemon and watches supernatural with them.

#was talking abt this to my high school friends tonight #who have know my baby sister since before they started school #it's the . sense of being 25 but remembering what it's like to be 13.#where teachers are Adults and do not exist outside of their perception as Adults #while also seeing the Instagram posts of the exact same teachers #and knowing the juxtaposition between the two . and wondering how that juxtaposition seems to a 13 yr old #idk idk how to phrase this. it's just a rly weird unique sensation l #that i feel like im on both sides of simultaneously #kiwi speaks
