sometimes i wonder if Mainstream Internet Culture is ever going to decide we're nostalgic for 2016 and suddenly bf era music and aesthetics are going to be like. maybe not cool but looked back on fondly instead of with immense amounts of cringe

#like i do sort of see people doing the “oh remember when we all listened to badlands and blue neighborhood and blurryface” thing #but it's still kind of ironic and i picture these people rolling their eyes at their younger selves for liking “cringy” music #and i just think it would be nice if we could all stop being embarrassed of the things that we liked when we were younger #idk i've seen it happen with stuff from the 2000s over the past 4-ish years #so i'm sure there's hope.#on the other hand i don't think i could handle seeing kids make tiktoks about how they wish they were in high school in the late 2010s #s talks
