A post going around about favorite high school literature assignments reminded me of one that has a sorta tenuous connection to Pharma in my Luna-1 AU fic, or just him in general regarding his motivation to save his "reputation"

There's a line in the final scene of The Crucible in which the protagonist screams "BECAUSE IT IS MY NAME!" which makes me think of Pharma. A lot

#squiggposting #pharma fic #the crucible's story is very diff bc the protagonist is being accused of something he didn't do #but bc the whole play is an allusion to the red scare in the US it's meant to play on themes of. well. truth and reputation #'because it is my name' in this case is like. it's sort of the same reason pharma wanted to cover his crimes in a way #because it's his name....#idk how else to explain it. if you've watched the play (or the movie adaptation) then you already understand #could probably use that line as a chapter title in the luna-1 fic honestly
