depends. if I've worked outside or something then I definitely take one right after. but on a daily basis? probably once a day or every other day, if I'm home. if I'm at school I try to take one at home on Sunday, one at school midweek (possibly two), and then one as soon as I get back on Friday. I hate showering at school bc we have community bathrooms and you have to wear flip flops. it's gross

I don't draw and I don't write recreationally, the only things I can think of are some pieces I wrote for school projects, which I probably don't have on hand. once again sorry I'm lame lol

uhhhhh probably my sweet internet friend who we'll call M. he needs a hug and I feel like he would give good ones:)

depends on the mood! if I'm feeling fruity I'll go for like a cherry cordial or a strawberry milkshake or maybe even a fruit sorbet! but if it's like a rich desserty mood I like anything with peanut butter or caramel or chocolate (or all three!). tldr; if you give me ice cream I will eat it

3. whats your favorite color?

idk? being LGBTQ+ I feel like I have some license to just say "the rainbow" but. for the sake of answering, I guess purple. I like purple a lot.

4. if you have pets, what are their names?

my dog that passed a year or so ago was named Haley, after Haley's comet. we called her a beagle/hound mix but she was really just a mutt. I loved her a lot:(

my other dog (still living) is my best friend. her name is Izzy and she's a golden retriever, though I'm convinced she's actually an angel

I have 18 chickens! here are the five who are still remaining from our first flock:

Annalise/Anna, a buff orpington (golden colored) who's big and floofy. she's Loud and likes to let us know she's laid an egg by singing an "egg song", which basically means clucking loud enough that we can hear her inside our house

Rosie/Rosalinda/Rosa, a rhode island red (a dark auburn color) who is debatably the alpha. she's a people-lover, and the best one to let kids hold as she's very calm. she'll fall asleep in my arms. but don't let that trick you, she's still bossy with the other chickens and aggressive when it comes to food (but aren't we all?)

Marsha, a black chicken (can't think of the breed rn) who is hearty and medium-sized. she's calm and demure and she has pretty brown eyes:)

Elsie and Stella, easter egg chickens (smaller breed that lays pastel green eggs) who are named after my maternal grandmother and great-grandmother. their names fit the way their namesakes were- Elsie is a lighter brown color and quite shy and sweet, Stella is skinny and darker and mean. not mean, really, but she has taken to bullying our new chickens which we've been trying to get her to stop doing

now for the new babies! (who are almost adults now!)

Rory and Lorelai, barred rocks (black and white striped) who are named after the Gilmore Girls characters

Violet and Iris, lavender orpingtons (gray with a hint of purple) who are both very sweet and named after their color, of course

Molly and Edith, two more easter egg chickens who are named after two more of my ancestors!

Clarice and Clover, buff orpingtons (like Anna) who are both super shy and precious (unlike Anna)

Ora and Georgetta. Ora is a golden-laced wyandotte while Georgetta is silver-laced (basically, they're dark-colored except for the ends of their feathers, which have a colored detailing. also come in blue and red varieties). they're named after two of the old ladies at our former church

Josephine/Josie and Penelope/Penny, new hampshire reds (a little lighter than Rosie but same idea) who are both so cute. they have a bit of black in their tail feathers and are just so so pretty:)))

finally, our special girl Buttercup! Buttercup was an extra because we ordered our babies as hatchlings from an online store, and they said we could have an extra for free! Buttercup is pure white and she is such a chracter. she likes roosting up really high and has fun doing things she knows she's Not Supposed To Do. she's funny and I love her

5. do you like a warm bed or a cold bed?

cold! I lovvvve sleeping in the cold. I like having the room super cold and then cuddling up under my blankets bc........... I'm baby

6. whats a really good memory you have?

strangely, the first thing that popped into my head was sitting on a rooftop with T on a really nice night. I'm not sure why, as I don't think about him that often, but I guess that goes to show that you can still love the memories even if you don't love the person anymore

8. do you drink water with or without ice in it?

with ice, unless it's a bottle from the fridge. I love cold water though, and will very rarely drink room temp

both? I don't capitalize the beginnings of sentences, but I do capitalize proper nouns and use correct punctuation and all that. I just feel like it looks too stuffy when there's all those capital letters

10. whats something thats made you laugh recently?

I was at a restaurant tonight where the servers sing throughout the night (they're all trying to make it on Broadway) and one guy sang a love song directly to this girl and threw confetti on her, which was funny. other than that probably just like. memes

Jisung took Jaimie and Wonho to their first Winter Formal 

“what do you mean!! dad’s hilarious!!” Wonho wipes his tears from laughing 

you wanted in on the deets; so you flipped open your video recorder

“what happened?” you turned to the 3 of them from the kitchen

Wonho sits down on the high swivel chair by the counter and Jaimie throws herself on the couch

“so Jaimie and her date were slow dancing together and they were getting in the lovely-dovey mood so they went outside to go kiss. but you know how I asked dad to pick us up early because I have a soccer game tomorrow? dad saw Jaimie and her date so he crept up behind them and scared the crap outta her and her date before the kissed!!!”

Jaimie just shrieks, “YOU RUINED MY MOMENT!!”

“J, it’s not the end of the world... besides out of all the places you guys could’ve kissed you had to do it right in front of Dad, your fault, just saying” Wonho takes off his tie and goes to his room

Jaimie is just sniffling

“what do you know, One!!”

Jaimie shoves her face back into the pillows

Jisung sits on the couch next to her, “do you like him a lot?”

she nods

“does he like you a lot?”

she sits up and hugs him

after a while, he stands up, “NOW HURRY UP AND WASH YOUR RACCOON EYES SO WE CAN GO GET ICE CREAM AND HOT CHOCOLATE NOW”

she scurries to her room and you hear both of your kids getting ready to head out

you loved family traditions.. always ending a good or bad day with ice cream 

you loved that despite of all this time that has passed by, Jisung is still Jisung

MOVING INTO COLLEGE:

“if you ever need any of us for advice or just to call home; just remember your mom and I will be on vacation... JUST KIDDING”

JIsung was obviously trying to lift the mood; you were already devastated that both of your kids are flying out of the coop

of course, you were filming these moments

you were so proud that your kids were able to grow up so well and that they were so family oriented

all of this happened because of Jisung.. pushing the kids to the limit and making dreams a reality 

you all gather in for a group hug

they both roll their stuff up to their dorms and you and Jisung wait for them to disappear into the building

it wasn’t until you guys got into the car and he started tearing up

“they’re gonna...gonna.. do.. gr-great thwings...”

you leaned over to wipe his tears and give him a kiss

“they wouldn’t have done this without you... they really look up to you, you know... I’m pretty sure their going to call a lot..”

he tells you that he’s going to binge watch all of the recordings that you have

you just hug him before he starts the car to leave the campus

there’s no way that Jisung was ever a bad dad, even in hard times... you were so glad to have him by yourself; now until the end of time

When Dan answered the call, his face was red and puffed and wet. Even through the crap-pixel screen quality, Phil could see that.

“Hey,” Dan’s voice broke.

Dan was shaking slightly.

His face suddenly flushed, “Oh shit, I forgot – I’m, uh, in only pants. In front of you. Crap.”

“It’s fine, I’ve seen you shirtless before.” Phil smiled what he hoped was reassuringly, “Are you okay?”

“Yeah — I mean, I am now. I guess.”

“Are you cold?”

“Kinda.” Dan admitted.

“Want to go to bed?”

“My room is too dark –”

“Well, I’ll be there, wont I? And I’ll protect you from everything bad in the dark.”

“You’re not really here.”

“Only ever a few hours away. And if worst comes to worst, I have the police line and the monster-killer line. So you’ll be super safe.”

Dan muffled a giggle, “Yeah, okay.”

He shuffled up off the floor, and made his way into his bedroom, clutching the laptop tightly.

“I dunno if I’m getting any sleep tonight, honestly.”

“You will! You can cuddle your pillow and I’ll tell you stories until the demons go away and you can sleep.”

“I’m not five, Phil.” There was no malice in his reply.

“You don’t need to be five for any of that to be true.” Phil said, serious tone.

“Okay,”

Minutes later, Dan was snuggled under his covers; hugging a pillow tightly as he listened to Phil go on about some guy at the market.

“Then, he pulled a hot dog out of his left pocket. Who keeps a single —”

“Phil?” Dan interrupted, his voice was dripping with sleep.

“Mm?”

“Do you think I’m stupid?”

“No.” Phil answered simply.

“I mean – for being so scared of such dumb stuff. Seven-year-olds are braver than me.”

“It’s okay to have fears, Dan. I bet you’re not the only adult with those fears either,”

“I’m scared of the dark. And ghosts and monsters and moths and demons and –”

“– and that’s fine. I don’t mind.”

“Hi!” Dan really should be quieter; last time he called Phil at three in the morning his dad had yelled at him.

“Hi,” Phil’s sleep-laced voice answered.

A booming crack of thunder, and a whimper.

“Don’t worry – it… won’t hurt you.” Despite everything, Dan was sometimes still quite new to the role of 'comfort’ in their relationship.

“I know, just loud.”

Dan wished he was like Phil. He wished he could just pull out an intresting story, a funny idea.

“Sorry.”

He wasn’t like Phil, though.

“Want to play a game?”

“What game could we possibly play through a phone call?” Dan could practically hear Phil rolling his eyes.

Dan wracked his brain for quick ideas.

“Eye-Spy?”

“We’re… not in the same room Dan.”

“Yeah, true.”

Dan’s room suddenly felt rather empty and uninteresting.

“What do you want me to do?” He finally muttered.

He held his breath.

“I just like hearing your voice, it calms me down. I like when you rant about things you love.”

“Phil?”

“Mhm?” He rolled over and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, “What’re you doing up?”

“There was a moth.”

“A moth?”

“Yes!” Dan looked around the room nervously, rolling on his heels, “It’s in the lounge somewhere and I can’t sleep knowing it’s out there — lurking.”

Phil groaned.

“Fucking kill it! Or set it free, I dunno. I just need it gone.”

“You are truly the perfect mix of 'needy child’ and 'angry businessman’, Danny.”

“Fuck off.”

“Mm, lemme get a cup then.”

Phil shoved on his glasses and stumbled out of bed into the kitchen, Dan following closely behind.

“Where was it again?” He asked, grabbing a wine glass from the cupboard.

They hadn’t really drank much alcohol these past few years– since Dan had gone on antidepressents— but they still always kept the glasses, to drink Ribena and seem fancy.

“No! You’ll need a bigger cup, it’s huge.” He whined.

“Okay,” he grabbed another glass, “where is it?”

“In the lounge last I saw.”

“I’ll go look, you get a piece of paper.”

Genuine terror painted over Dan’s face, “I don’t want to be alone.”

“Christ’s sake Dan, it’s a moth, not an armed burglar. I think you’ll live.”

“You don’t know that.”

“I do. Now, just go a minute.”

He then ventured into the lounge, still half-drowned by sleep, when he heard a shriek.

“Dan?”

“Phil! Fucking help!”

Anyone else might’ve thought Dan was being held at gunpoint from the panicked way he was yelling.

“Coming!”

He went into the hall; Dan was standing there, paralysed with fear, as a giant moth flew circles around him. He had tears threatening to fall.

“Oh dear,”

Phil went over to the closet and grabbed a broom, spent a few go’s waving it around– and almost hitting Dan in the process— before smacking it head on.

“Aw, now I feel bad for killing it,” He whispered.

Dan was on the floor now, shaking, tears stained down his cheeks. He was in only pants.

And Phil was there.

“Well, the moth’s gone now isn’t it?” He crouched down next to Dan, putting his hands gently on his shoulders.

“Mmm,” Dan had his head tucked in his knees.

“Are you okay?”

Silence.

“That’s fine. Want me to make you some tea?”

“Yeah.”

“Okay.”

A few minutes later, in the kitchen, with dried cheeks; “I can’t believe how much of a wimp I am.”

The kettle rang, and Phil took it off the stove carefully.

“No —”

“I know, I know, my therapist told me. 'It’s never weak to have fears’. But I cried over a fucking moth. In our hallway. It’s late and –”

“– and that’s okay.”

“It’s not okay Phil!”

“It’s fine in the moment, that’s what I mean.”

He grabbed a NASA mug, and poured the boiling water in a teapot.

Phil dropped in a teabag.

He still remembered. It was a promise made at 4am; a promise over Skype to a more-than-slightly-terrified eighteen year old.

A promise made to a bunch of pixel’s with a name and a face and fear.

A promise his Dan probably didn’t even remember, honestly.

“No, I promised that much.”

“Mhm,”

He poured the tea.

“So, two sugars or three?”

“Two.”

[Friday; 02.16.18; 05:12]

Dan was on the sofa; snuggled up in blankets and watching the winter Olympics through his small Iphone screen. His eyes were heavy, he yawned.

Their bedroom door squeaked opened.

“Hey,” Phil spoke quietly.

“Up so late?”

“You’re up too.”

“Well — I’m watching the Olympics. You know it’s on late in the UK.”

“Alright.” Phil shuffled into the kitchen, grabbing a glass and leaving the cupboard door wide open.

“Why are you awake?”

“Just another nightmare, s'fine.”

“Then why did you come out here?”

His voice might’ve been read as upset – he was just tired. Half the time Dan honestly didn’t mean to come off so rude.

“Dunno,”

“What was it about?”

“Uh — I think my family was trapped, you included, and I was the only person who could save them. But I had to do something… I think, I had to open a lock to somewhere? But I was too nervous. I saw everyone die; I knew it was my fault. I saw – you know, blood. Not too much. But it’s fine.”

As he spoke, he went over to the sink and got a glass of water, adding iced-cubes; his tone was unnaturally cool and casual.

“But I heard your skull shatter –”

“What the fuck —”

“Sorry! You asked though.”

“No – I mean, that’s horrible. Jesus christ, are you okay?”

Phil shrugged, “It happens, it’s okay though. Just a dream.”

It was only at that moment Dan noticed Phil’s eyes were a little too redded, his words a little bit shaky.

Phil started back to their room.

“Are you going back to sleep?”

“Probably.” His reply was tired.

“Oh – uh, well, why don’t you stay with me and watch the Olympics? I know you’ve never really cared, not your thing, but still I think that —”

“Sure! I’ll stay, yeah.” Phil quickly answered.

“Okay.”

Phil put his glass of water back down on the counter, and walked over to the sofa. Dan opened up his blanket fort and invited Phil in.

“These are the men’s single runs.”

“Mhm,” Phil nuzzled his head into Dan’s neck, which usually would’ve bothered him, but he didn’t mind so much.

A few minutes pass, “So what’s that guy supposed to be doing? I need your commentary; you know.”

I just like hearing your voice, it calms me down.

“Well, that’s the Japanese lead skater, which means —”

I’m sorry I’m getting to this so late! I wanted to get to this ask sooner but I just got so busy… 

But I’m glad you liked the first Disney AU list I wrote out ^^ I do feel like they can be rambling from my end, but hey, if you don’t mind listening, I don’t mind sharing!

I tried making this list with different ships and stuff, for the sake of variety. But if you want to hear about a specific ship or certain AU setting, just let me know! I can go on and on about these things. 

Of course, the full list of random disney aus is under the cut. 

Taichi + Hikari with a slight hint of Taiyama. - Lilo and Stich AU

Taichi, the overprotective brother who is trying so hard to be an adult as quick as possible in order to take care of his sister. However Hikari is having trouble adjusting and fitting in with her surroundings as there are so many changes happening. Taichi feels bad that Hikari is struggling to make friends and stuff, so they go to get a cat (because they used to have Miko) and…it’s tailmon! 

Because I think it works so well!  Tailmon, coming into their lives as Hikari wishes for a guardian angel and instead gets a ‘monster’ that has trust issues and has a lot of destructive power??? I think it’d fit well! Especially when it came down to Hikari bonding with Tailmon. and the two of them having a relationship unlike anything else. 

lol the ‘slight’ hint of Taiyama comes from the idea that Taichi and Yamato used to attend school together and that their siblings are the same age so they know each other well. But I won’t lie. it’s entirely because I think it’d be funny if Yamato was trying to impress Taichi, only for it to go badly and then he feels embarrssed and Hikari just goes, ‘It’s okay. Onii-chan likes your butt. and he thinks your hair is fancy. I know because I read his diary’. 

Taichi, Yamato, Koushiro -Three Cabelleros AU

This makes no utter sense other than it’s what I like XD. Growing up, Three Cabelleros was my favorite movie, I love it to death, I watched it more than anything else. And don’t test me on how well I know the songs lolYamato is Donald Duck. The guy just celebrating his birthday but winds up losing his temper multiple times yelling ‘WHATS THE BIG IDEA!!!’ over and over again as his birthday is full to the brim with craziness. 

Koushiro is José. He just shows up randomly going ‘you haven’t been here before? Well let’s go! You got so much you need to learn!’’ and winds up dragging Yamato all over the place just to teach him a thing or two. Plus Koushiro looks good in a bow tie so why the fuck not. Taichi is Panchito. In this case, Yamato is probably about to eat his birthday cake only to have Taichi jump out of it screaming and hollering and shooting off a bunch of guns before grabbing Yamato and Koushiro and yelling “WE’RE THREE GAY CABELLEROS!” 

lol its completely impractical. but just imagining them singing the three cabelleros song together makes me smile.

Aristocats-Daisuke/Takeru

You know. The main reason why I wanted this kind of AU for this pairing is because I think it’d be so cute???

Like. Takeru, as the ‘duchess’. Someone who comes from a lavious lifestyle and then gets thrown out of his cozy life and is forced to have to make due with the skin on his back. 

Daisuke, the ‘alley cat’, who only approaches Takeru at first because he thinks it’d be funny. 

At first Daisuke tries to show Takeru the ‘ropes’ but Daisuke himself is a little bit of klutz and Takeru isn’t so dainty as he may appear to be. And the two wind up learning a lot about each other as Takeru tries to find his way back home. 

Idk I’m a sucker for daikerus where its about the two of them coming from polar backgrounds and them reaching a middle ground. Add a dash of social classes, cuddling ontop of the rooftops under the moonlight and walking along the edge of a dribbling stream and I’m happy!

Taichi/Jyou -Rescuers

Taichi is a field operative for a rescue task force. Because of his reputation and success record, he’s often sought for. And during one of his mission briefings a lot of people are scrambling to be his partner…

And then he chooses Jyou! A simpleton who isn’t actually part of the agency! Why?! Because Taichi “needs a plain guy who’s not gonna bother him!” Jyou doesn’t want to go but Taichi drags him along. And all of a sudden Jyou’s safe and routine lifestyle is swapped with near death experiences, crossing massive hazardous terrains and wishing that Taichi didn’t have to opt for the most stunt crazy airplane pilot every time. 

Through some miracle, their first mission together is successful. And when it’s all over Jyou is just absolutely exhausted and kinda happy that it’s all over. 

But Taichi took such a liking to Jyou that when he jumps outta his mission detail and grabs onto Jyou’s arm going "guess who’s now gonna be my new partner from this point onward!!” and Jyou silently weeps as he wishes his pleasant common life goodbye. 

Yamato/Mimi- Hercules

Again another AU that is extremely self indulgent on my end. Ever since I saw all of those Hades/Persphone AU fanarts concerning this ship I can’t help but associate Mimato with anything remotely close to Greek Mythos lmaoBut I gotta admit. Yamato, having one goal ingrained in his head, so much so that he is really socially awkward and is especially bad at dealing with Mimi because she just always plays the devil’s advocate?? I just picture that scene where Mimi is leaning in trying to be sexy and then Yamato just pinches her dress strap back up on her shoulder lol. Hercules is another favorite Disney movie of mine. They’d so be cute in this setting. 

Sora/Mimi -Tarzan

I think this is just me drifting off into dreamland but like hear me out. just. let me explain. 

So there’s a study on gorillas and stuff, and the team of researchers is Koushiro, Jyou, Mimi and Taichi. Jyou is actually there as like a medical professional, Koushiro is the one manning the research. Taichi can be the bodyguard or something he’s not a scientist. And Mimi is a botanist who was brought along cause she works under the same grant as Koushiro.

Now they are there doing their research. However while studying gorilla packs and stuff, they start noticing oddities which they have trouble explaining. Which get Koushiro up in a tizzy even if the rest of them aren’t too focused about it. 

One day, Mimi like wakes up early, and starts walking around to the stream nearby. While at the water front, she sees a colorful flower near her. When she talks toward it, she finds another flower–same type slightly different in color. She starts following them down the river before actually noticing they were placed there, they aren’t naturally growing, which makes her want to see who’s placing them down. At the end is a bunch of beautiful flowers but, these ones are special. Mimi specifically remembers seeing the laid out flowers earlier in her expedition but didn’t have time to draw and take notes about it cause Taichi was yip yapping about the sun going down and how they had to head back to camp and stuff. 

Mimi of course likes the flowers, but then starts wondering why they were there. When she heads back to camp and Koushiro has been going on and on about his theories about how the gorilla pack they are studying must be raising something that’s not a gorilla (lol jyou is just feigning interest at this rate and taichi is trying to go back to bed) Mimi can only think about the flowers so she actually starts siding with Koushiro and wants to learn more about what’s going on because her gut feeling is telling her that this is important. 

However, as they try to research this it doesn’t yield the best results. Whatever is going on, its elusive to them. And its hard to keep track of. It gets to the point where Jyou reminds everyone *why* they are all there and stuff. And even Koushiro is forced to resign his theories to focus on their jobs. 

And Mimi feels oddly upset by this and takes away from camp to cool off (Taichi offered to go with her, but Mimi refused wanting to be alone). While she’s sitting by herself feeling really defeated without knowing why, she finds another flower. This time she’s like driven to find out *why* she’s being given these gifts. (as she’s now convinced this is no accident) and then runs after this trail and finds!!! Sora!!!! :D Who has been out in the wilderness ever since she was young and was raised by the gorillas and stuff. Sora tries to run but Mimi manages to approach her. (Mainly cause Sora is both curious and feels calm around Mimi) The two of them are about to make contact before Taichi comes swinging at foliage with a machete yelling out Mimi’s name (cause she hasn’t come back to camp) which scares Sora and gets Mimi mad. Then of course the rest of this AU is spent on them trying to ‘find’ Sora. Even though Sora is kinda only comfortable around Mimi. At first its just the two of them, learning things about each other slowly  and then its all disney magic fromm there LOL

annnndddd. I think that’s enough for one list. lol I’m sorry I tend to get caught up when I start thinking of these AUs. I hope that you enjoyed some of them though! Thank you for your patience and for the ask!

Cupkayke Rewatches/Liveblogs Boueibu!

Season 1, Episode 2 

I think I’ll start using the title cards in these~ Sounds fun. And I originally started this post like... 5 hours ago but then TUMBLR JUST HAD TO CRASH CHROME AND EAT THE POST. So if my commentary isn’t very intelligent it’s because I wrote all this shit earlier and lost it <.< Not that it was intelligent in the first place; it was mostly squeeing and laughing over stupid screencaps.

So! Image-heavy thoughts below the cut!

Yup, I still love this opening theme. LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE.

Okay, let’s unpack Kinshirou’s speech here a bit. He starts off chastising Ibushi for taking the tea off a little bit too soon and then launches into his views about negligence. “Those who are negligent in etiquette will be negligent in all things. Lifestyle, academics, self respect...” What exactly does that mean? Especially in relation to the ‘self-respect’ comment. If we utilize the dictionary definitions, Kinshirou is saying “Those who are lazy or careless in etiquette will neglect the proper esteem or regard for the dignity of one’s character.” Essentially, Kinshirou is stating that he holds not only decorum but how one views the self above everything else. It’s an interesting look at his worldview, but it also could be taken that he’s talking about Atsushi here, who was (perceived to be) “negligent” with “friendship etiquette” and stopped speaking to Kinshirou and thusly their friendship died. Of course, Kinshirou is probably well aware that he threw a temper tantrum in the first place, but... that aside, he’s still upset. So perhaps he’s reminding Ibushi of what type of people they are supposed to be, and not like THOSE people.

I didn’t cap this part of the speech, but Kinshirou continues: “It is easy to drift downwards. We as the student council of Binan high school, regard foolishness and mediocrity as a sin. We must not approve of it.” - More establishment of how Kinshirou views the world. Order, dignity and class held above all. Again, something that Atsushi potentially lacks, knowing what we know on the other half of the reveal. Or I could be talking out my ass.

Even Ibushi isn’t quite on board with Kinshirou’s plan lol. From this, it seems he might just potentially be along for the ride for the sake of keeping Kinshirou happy- but he’s unable to resist pointing out how lofty Kinshirou’s plot sounds.

I know Kinshirou is bad mothing our boys here, but in this particular screencap it’s a little hard to take him seriously lol. They look like a boy band!

They discuss using someone to commit violent acts so casually… how much brainwashing did Zundar have to do and how much of their compliance is just from their natures as isolated kids? (I need to read the manga again so I actually remember their backstories... I read all of it that was available in English but there may have been an update to the translations? Idk- I’ll look for it later)

En and his musings again~

Though c’mon guys, are you really surprised at this point considering what was revealed in ep1 about En’s brain? You’ve been hanging out for awhile...

 However their conversation about chopsticks and menma is pretty realistic random drivel. (I had to look up what menma was because I’m an #idiotamerican)

Ryuu evidently takes chopsticks and menma very seriously. Look at how upset he is.

CURRY REFERENCE THIS EARLY HOW DID I FORGET

No really that’s really good character development/foreshadowing.

Though I wonder exactly what happened to make Kinshirou hate curry so much. Revulsion that strong can’t just simply be from emotional pain (and I think Atsushi ditched him in the first place because he knew Kinshirou hated curry and wouldn’t want to come with him in the first place). So... it must be food aversion. Maybe Kinshirou got food poisoning as a kid after eating curry. That would do it- I couldn’t eat chicken noodle soup for YEARS after I associated eating it with having the stomach virus. I didn’t eat it again until I was an adult.

Hashida WAAAAAAARIO. Oh man.

That chopstick thing is frustrating lol when we go out for sushi my bf always steals mine when he fucks up his. I feel your pain, Wario.

I don’t quite remember why I capped this part but the imagery in that dialogue is pretty heavy. Also their expressions are pretty funny here; Ibushi is just bored, Akoya looks deep in thought and Kinshirou looks like he’s gonna cut a bitch.

 Looking back on it they were much more organized villains than the Beppus wound up being- they had coordinated attacks/powers and TWO group names, the Earth Conquest Club and Caerula Adamas. I wonder if Zundar had them practice before they started trying to take over the school for real? Or did they just get thrown into it like the DC and the words/motions just come to them?

Tho really did somebody not notice their transformation? They noticed Wario turning into a fucking monster…

Wowwwww I think this is where I thought it was ridiculous. Arima voiced our thoughts.

Side note- I really like the lighting in this scene.

OKAY REALLY? Knowing what we know now, is this just poor writing or bullshit on Wombat’s part for the CIDE2 screen? Gora was a battle lover of sorts but it was shown in s2 that he was by himself- he didn’t have a team. He just had his own name. So why this reference? Were they originally planning on there having previously been a team of five and then retconned it or was this just a throwaway line? I’d like to think it’s Wombat bullshitting just to get the boys to do what he wants.

Atsushi is VERY VERY VERY concerned with his image.

Atsushi really doesnt like the names, contrast to en. I never realized how image-conscious Atsushi is until I rewatched this ep. You’d think the stereotypically ‘nerdy’ looking character would be the least self conscious about the whole thing.

They definitely did a lot more fighting in s1, even when the other boys aren’t doing much.

AND FUCKING FINALLY. AFTER LIKE EIGHT HOURS OF START AND STOP WORK EPISODE 2 IS BLOGGED.

I might as well take this footnote to note that I’m finding the Student Council a much more enjoyable cast this time around than when I originally watched the series. Idk why they just didn’t resonate with me at first- but I’m slowly coming to see why they’re some of the favorite characters in the fandom. They do have a lot of backstory that the manga fleshes out and it’s a pity that they don’t get to be friends with the Defense Club until the end of s1 and then they get shipped off abroad in s2. Logistics and all but there’s a lot more story there that could have been explored- but perhaps some of it did and I wasn’t paying attention the first time. I will get there in this rewatch lol.

Well, so much for trying to get 2 eps done today. I’ll see if I can post ep3 tomorrow or the day after depending on when I get around to watching and taking notes again. Tho I just started making my bf watch Yuri on Ice so I may be a bit preoccupied with rewatching that with him for a few days haha.
