What do I even say to Casey when I meet them next week?? how do i tell them ‘hey not to be gay but you wrote this incredible book that helped me figure myself out at 33 and brought me amazing friends and kinda sorta changed my life for the better and also i love being queer and you’re an icon and I love u” without sounding totally insane and stupid lol
It’s gotta be better than the time I met Taron Egerton and went “uhh hi. It’s me.”

2, 3, & 11 for the oc of your choice
Ahh thanks for the ask bestie! I decided to go with my sweet baby boy Erwyn bc he deserves more recognition.
2) Who's your OCs best friend? How did they become best friends?
Erwyn’s best friend is none other than Tommen! After being knighted he is assigned to look after and protect Tommen, and seeing as he’s not that much older than him, they’re the perfect age to get along. Erwyn is like the only person that Tommen feels like he can actually open up to and talk about his feelings with, and vice versa. Together with Margaery, they’re the most iconic trio in King’s Landing.
3) What song describes your OC?
I know I’ve mentioned it before, but Mama’s Boy by Dominic Fike is the perfect song for Erwyn bc deep down inside, that’s what he is, and even he can’t deny it. Since I’ve already talked about that one though, I would also say Run Boy Run by Woodkid is totally him.
11) What was your inspiration for your OC?
Well, for starters, I just wanted to create a character for Arya because I don’t see a lot of those, and I mean, come on she’s Arya
And I had seen both of the OG Kingsmen movies, and I really wanted to make a character with Taron Egerton character vibes after that

absofuckinglutely stellar universe workings that the trio fight scene at the end of kingsman golden circle is between 3 actors who all play gay characters: colin firth in his tailored suits played a gay professor in a single man, cowboy pedro pascal ends up playing a gay cowboy in strange way of life, and taron egerton will play gay icon elton john in the biopic about his life - and bonus bc elton is in this fucking movie!! perfect!! excellent!! amazing!! 5 gold stars!!

Viv’s Fave Movie Biographies
1. Monster - 2003
The story of Aileen Wuornos one of the elusive female serial killers in history. This movie will have you both empathetic to the past that led to her violence and astonished at the deterioration of her psyche.
2. The Pianist - 2002
I watched this movie for the first time when I took a Holocaust course in university. I fully bawled my eyes out while watching this absolute brutally honest depiction of what a Jewish person had to go through during this period of terror and atrocities.
3. Straight Outta Compton - 2015
So good! This movie captured my childhood soundtrack and the deep racial divisions of the 80s and 90s in America.
4. Walk the Line - 2005
I watched this movie when it came out and didn’t understand any of it because I was 7. Upon rewatching it later in life, I have got a greater appreciation of Johnny Cash and his tumultuous love life.
5. I, Tonya - 2017
Love me some Sebastian Stan, but in this movie I hated his gross porn stache and his guts. You really get an understanding for how people are created to be villains.
6. The Social Network - 2010
I mean this film is just iconic, really the first movie to depict the beginnings of a social media network and it’s effect not only on the people that use it but the people that made it.
7. Spotlight - 2015
Always love a good movie about catching child predators and exposing their horrendous actions.
8. The Wolf of Wall Street - 2013
One summer my friends and I were obsessed with the song “Jordan Belford”, so we decided to watch the movie about him. Man oh man, we were not prepared to see that his life was not as luxurious as it’s made out to be.
9. Rocketman - 2019
My favourite part about this movie is that Taron Egerton sung all of the Elton John songs himself. I like that it doesn’t glorify his life but rather tells it how it is. Also, Richard Madden is a total hottie in this movie.
10. Bohemian Rhapsody - 2018
The acting is just phenomenal, Rami Malek is just a freaking fantastic Freddie Mercury. Who doesn’t love watching a movie about an absolute gay icon.

3, 9, 23, 29 😘 for the ask thing. Also one extra bonus question of your own choice
HI, DARLING, THANK YOU FOR THE AASK I answered 3 and 23 here!
I either go through the ship tag with the "Exclude" thing on my blacklisted tags OR I go through the fics of an author I love, read all of their things and then go through their bookmarks like a little gremlin.
ohhh thats a fun one! its about my SM playlist, so here we go. I'll select 3 because that playlist is at a ridiculous number of songs.
1 - Tutti Frutti by Little Richard
I chose this one because it's the original one, Elvis just covered it. It was released in 1955 so it would totally be on the radio when the story of Switchblades and Motorbikes takes place. Little Richard is a queer icon and this song was originally very very queer, according to The Life and Times of Little Richard: The Quasar of Rock the lyrics went like:
but according to Rock N' Roll America, a 2015 BBC documentary they went like:
I have this hc that some people still played this fabled Original Version around bars and clubs.
2 - Saturday Night Is Alright (For Fighting) by Elton John
This song is the reason for the title of the fic and I'm so so SO glad I had this moment of insight bc I was NOT happy with the previous title (you should know you're his favourite worst nightmare just wasn't punchy enough, too long) . This song is about BAR FIGHTS and GETTING IN TROUBLE, so it fits the vibe of the fic and of a fight scene really well. I also love the scene with Kit Connor and Taron Egerton in the Rocketman movie, def an inspiration.
3 - Moment's Silence (Common Tongue) by Hozier
I love how open Hozier is with his influences, how he reveres music made by black people. I think his music would fit the time, in a way. Also this song is hot af and helped me write the sex scene SJDHKFJGHFSDG
AND NOW THE BONUS ONE
I thought of you, alexturne, when I saw this question. YOUR COMMENTS ARE SO WONDERFUL, SO FILLED WITH KINDNESS AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL, seriously, THANK YOU, I never thought I'd receive something like this, I was not expecting SM to gather this kind of comment and I'm so happy, HOPE YOU LIKE THE NEXT CHAPTERS

Coming Attractions December 2024

As usual, we present monthly previews of new movies being released. These are the movies that will be hitting your local cinemas (and streaming services) this month:
December 6th
Y2K - Kyle Mooney makes his directorial debut with this disaster comedy set on New Year's Eve 1999.
Nightbitch - Amy Adams stars in this black comedy horror film about a mother who transforms into a dog.
The Order - Jude Law is an FBI agent hunting a white supremacist played by Nicholas Hoult in this historical crime fiction thriller.
Werewolves - Frank Grillo leads an ensemble cast in this horror action thriller about, you guessed it, vampires. Wait, werewolves, it is about werewolves.
The Return - Odysseus's return to Ithaca is portrayed in this drama starring Ralph Fiennes. Someone alert Telemachus that daddy is home.
December 13th
Kraven the Hunter - Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the titular Spider-Man villain in this new Sony film.
The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim - Middle Earth goes anime in this film set 183 years before The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Carry-On - A TSA agent, played by Taron Egerton, is told to let a package through security in this action thriller coming to Netflix.
September 5 - In select cinemas this month (and wide in January) comes the story of the 1972 Munich Olympic hostage crew told from the perspective of the crew from ABC Sports in Germany covering the games.
December 20th
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - The blue hedgehog is back with his friends Tails and Knuckles in this threequel. But this time, they have to face Shadow, who is voiced by Keanu Reeves.
Mufasa: The Lion King - Did you enjoy learning about how two iconic villains were originally friends this year with films like Transformers One and Wicked? Well, let me tell you what Mufasa and Scar were up to when they were younger.
The Brutalist - Keep an eye on this historical epic come awards season. But don't let the over three-and-a-half runtime scare you, there is a built-in intermission, so pick a theater that offers refills.
December 25th
Nosferatu - Robert Eggers remakes the 1922 German film of the same name, this time with Bill Skarsgard as the Count.
A Complete Unknown - Timothee Chalamet is Bob Dylan in this biopic from James Mangold. Mangold is hoping to recreate that Walk the Line magic.
Now for a quick look ahead to November, my top picks for next month are Wolf Man and Star Trek: Section 31.
