WALKING ON THE STARS

Since I was a child, I’ve always dreamed of becoming a runway model. Watching models on the catwalk, their confidence and grace inspired me to pursue this dream. One of my biggest inspirations has always been Francisco Lachowski. His presence on the runway and ability to captivate an audience made me want to follow in his footsteps. I imagined myself one day walking for big fashion brands like Dior, Balenciaga, Chanel, and other iconic fashion houses. The idea of being a part of such a glamorous and creative industry felt like the perfect dream for me. However, as I grew older, I realised that the modelling world comes with its own set of challenges. One of the biggest obstacles I face is the pressure to meet certain beauty standards. The fashion industry often has strict and narrow ideas of what a model should look like. Height, weight, and even facial features are all judged carefully, and sometimes it feels like no matter how hard I try, I don’t fit those standards. It’s frustrating because I know I have the passion and the drive to succeed, but these limitations make the path much harder. The pressure to conform to these beauty ideals has been tough. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to change myself to fit what the industry expects, but it’s hard to keep up. It can feel discouraging when something as simple as a beauty standard stands between you and your dream. I’ve often wondered if I’ll ever be able to break through these barriers and make my mark in the fashion world, just like Francisco Lachowski did. Still, despite these challenges, my dream hasn’t faded. I continue to look up to models like Lachowski, who inspire me to push forward and keep believing in myself. I know that the road to becoming a model, especially for top brands like Dior, Balenciaga, or Chanel, is difficult. But I hold onto the hope that one day the industry will expand its ideas of beauty, allowing more people like me to achieve their dreams.
