one time i complimented someone on a song they made and they proceeded to break down my compliment and it was honestly the craziest reaction to a compliment i've ever seen
#i said that it was ''really cool and reminded me a lot of gba game music!''#and they were like ''no it's not gba music (bunch of technical stuff about sound and how music works and stuff)''#and said if anything their music was more reminiscent of doom or something like that ?#which i was just like ''okay sorry...''#i've never played doom and don't knwo that much about sound#and i only said it reminded me of gba games because it made me nostalgic for them hearing the song#but ig im stupid for trying to compliment
