yknow it's really annoying and frustrating that when i point out racism in a fandom server

i'm the one who then feels afraid to interact like normal afterward

like yeah, it's partly my own self-shame that keeps me quieter than i usually would be

but i've noticed that when i point out racism in fandom spaces, ppl actively don't engage with me anymore, and i honestly fear that bc humans are social creatures

obviously the blatant fandom racism is what drives fans of color out of fandoms

but i need y'all "leftists" to understand that the other part to that is the fact that you guys won't engage with us if we've tried to point out something that's racist (whether you did something racist or endorsed something that was, and whether or not it was out of ignorance or not)
