Soo in Korea, korean catholics have this tradition of adopting a baptismal name as a second name. And it's normally after a saint so when you meet a korean catholic they would casually introduce themselves as their baptismal name. One time there was one whose name was literally APOSTLE PAUL. Like not just "Paul" but "APOSTLE PAUL"
#i went to mass one day and there happened to be a first communion and there was a kid who was called thomas aquinas#there were lots of “andrew”s bc of saint andrew kim taegon too#and most girls choose agnes.. agatha(korean martyr)...#i've heard scholastica too#ahh and therese of lisieux#which in korean its translated as “little theresa”#katarina (catherine) is pretty common too#btw apostol paul in korean is like “sado baoro”
