i don't wanna say anything on the original post cuz I feel kinda mean about it, but like Tucker isnt the reincarnation of a pharaoh. That's just fanon/a headcanon people have. (which is cool! headcanon away, I'm just pedantic and need to correct people)
The actual plot of the episode is that Tucker LOOKS like the pharoah so the ghost mummy Hotep Ra tricks him into playing the part so he can gain power via a brainwashing scepter. It's a very Akumatized Villain in Miraculous Ladybug type plotline tbh.
The only part of the episode that could be interpreted to support this theory of past life Pharoah Duul Aman being Tucker is when Lancer says "Ancient legend holds that he will return when the king's image reflects a new in his sacred mirror" like you CAN read that as evidence of reincarnation. Personally I read it more literally, cuz other than that line there really isn't any other evidence that Hotep Ra isn't just using Tucker as a means to an end. The concept of reincarnation is never even mentioned.
#danny phantom#i've had people comment to me before about tucker being a pharaoh as well#and its always brought up as if its canon when its not#and i know dp fans get their canon and fanon mixed up a lot so i thought i'd set the record straight#tucker foley
