i'm all for harm reduction, but some of yall don't seem to understand how opioids work, this is true for A LOT of people, which is why healthcare providers have such a heavy responsibility in regards to when and how they prescribe opioids.
harm reduction policies need to be realistic, so when it comes to just generally legalizing and decriminalizing all drugs, and providing tools and supervision for people to do drugs safely, yeah i'm 100% for that. but for specifically medical contexts, there needs to be a high level of regulation. opioids should always be given when appropriate-the issue is on what criteria are we basing whether or not it's appropriate.
