The pain is releasing its grip, slowly, slowly. On the kitchen floor, illuminated by both the stove light and the distant moon, Jon curls into Elias' arms. The sheer, overwhelming warmth of them almost makes him weep. Delicate fingers grip his jaw and slowly ease it open, then gently remove his wrist from his mouth. Jon hadn't been aware he was still biting it. Elias shushes him. "None of that now, Jonathan. You're alright. You're alright."

And as a bonus (because it's been over a week since you sent that request lol):

The sound of the door opening lights a brief spark of fear in Jon, which fades into a pleasant, low buzz of anxiety. Not enough to be filling, of course, but still enjoyable. He lets his voice tip just slightly into irritation all the same. “Ah, Jonathan, there you are.”
