i've been listening to a lot of musicals lately ... i can't seem to focus on books these days (perhaps bc i read them on my phone) but i'm craving the experience of being immersed in a story and musicals satisfy that itch so well

#they're so perfect to listen to while i'm cleaning the kitchen or crocheting #i'm getting to know characters and going through a story #not to mention the songs are so good....#i've been listening to anastasia 2017 and beetlejuice and wicked. i'm obsessed with them i wish i could actually watch them live now #hgjshfhf i've been like 'wow story through song! i love this' and then i realized that's literally just disney movies #it's made me want to revisit my faves like mulan and tangled to appreciate the songs all over again #songs that show character and advance the plot?? yes please #oh another fave is something rotten.....so much fun. i need to find more musicals like it #that being said. today i got some books from the library so let's see if actual physical copies increases my concentration #i hope so. i really miss reading. i've been craving a good adventure story lately
