#i've been delaying this for Damn Ages because i'm shy as all hell

an introduction post to the writeblr community i guess :)

my name’s blue and i’ve had this blog since... ages, but i only got into putting my writing things here now??

i’ve got a very chaotic mind nearly 24/7 (some snack breaks, and work) hence the many question marks. i really want to keep on track with my writing and eventually (hopefully!!) get some stuff published.

about me 

- i’m a huge reader and it basically made me the Bookish Kid all throughout my childhood, which i’m very okay about because i love it

- i’ll mostly be posting memes, my writing journey (if that makes sense), tips & advice or compilations of some i’ve found helpful (and, as of 2021, ask games and hopefully more interaction!)

- i’m nonbinary! i go by they/them and i’m also panromantic :3

about my writing

- sometimes it can be fire, or it can be Literal Fire as in not good. but i feel like we all feel like that sometimes hehe (and i’m trying to be more positive! i love my work man)

- it’s much of a journey, a work in progress (oop) and because i’ve been writing for ages, mostly fanfic and such, there are many things that i still need to improve (and i’m a huge fan of the community, will support it forever :) )

- i tend to venture more towards literary fiction, tragicomedies and occasionally a thriller/ fantasy or two, but it steers towards YA all the time (unless we’re making a picture book, or trying very hard to)

about my wip 

- i have quite a few! but due to my strange passion for Way too many ideas, i can veer off occasionally.

- my main wip at the moment is called “the female gaze”, it’s a tragicomedy about very queer people in the fashion industry trying to reconcile their lives and currently, i’m on my first draft and have a revised (ishhhh) outline. we’ll see how this all goes, but some of my other stuff is up on my blog if you’d like to check it out x

i’m ecstatic to see how many amazing writers there are out on tumblr but i’m also quite shy,,,, much better behind a screen tbh. i really want to make more writer friends because this community is so supportive and sweet and Yeah.
