I’m not Russian, but have been to Russia several times. My favourite ‘snack’ was СЫРОК. The chocolate covered yoghurty-cheese thing. Omg sooo yummy.

(his cheese making video is a big comfort for me)#i feel like so much has been lost since 2020 and 2022 and this is a persistent feeling that's haunted me often this year#just having so much emotion 😭😖🙃#that aside i've decided i am going to try making this thing soon#there's no tvorog readily available where i am and i don't have a bar tray to shape them in which always made me hesitate#but i found a recipe that homebrews it with foil and i did find curd cheese with a similar texture so i'm going to go for it#wish me luck and my very normal weekend i am having 😂#love you lots 💖💖💖💖💖#russian adventures#syrok
