the fact that carpenter never got to see faulkner leading all of his season two acolytes is so tragic because you know she would be laughing her ass off the whole time. faulkner calling them children when he's like, canonically in his early 20s? him referring to tapper as "a sharp young man" and thurrocks explicitly wanting him to approve of her boyfriend?? any and every time he gives out sage life advice to the group?? she could not keep that shit together. the jokes would be endless. it would be the best day of carpenter's life. and don't get me started on her seeing rane and faulkner's conversations.
