whatever they put in will byers makes me want to carry him on my hip and cuddle him to my chest where i will then swaddle him in a warm blanket and love him and protect him from everything awful in the world so that he can finally rest and be at peace

and whatever they put in mike wheeler makes me want to reject domestication and wield a large ax jack torrance style and hiss and snarl and bite and move around on all fours like a wild chimpanzee that's been challenged to defend his honor like it's the last thing i'll ever do in this life
