Ventan/Taakur Rig and Rozanin Rig – My and Daz's SWTOR PCs respectively. A Chiss Cipher Agent that ends up having to go hide with his Mandalorian hireling with her Clan and Roz's unrequited love becomes hella requited and suddenly Ventan/Cipher Five-now-Taakur has step kids??

currently reading: Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan as part of genre research. Finished The Vampyre recently too! Really I should pick AC up today, I've been working hard on my editing and outlining of my own pieces and neglecting the reading part of the craft for a few weeks >.>;

currently craving: So I'm drinking far less booze to save money whilst I'm out of work trying to get some Proper Writing done. So when I hit a good worthy milestone I'm getting a bottle of whiskey and I am ready.

current obsessions: Was tempted to add my own work here but I'll tag that on the very end XD

There's a lot of fandoms I don't leave – World of Darkness and Warhammer 40k predominantly as settings I always have another angle I want to see explored in!

I do however have the Magic the Gathering bug, even though I haven't really played in years and years now – but card interaction as a generation for narrative has always kind of captivated me? Like there's a couple big mean Ogre cards that make Rats more dangerous, but due to the way the systems work they also empower the Ratfolk of Kamigawa, the Nezumi, as they count as 'Rat' cards still. So big Ogre spellcasters improving Rat people as part of a contained bit of narrative kind of fascinates me as a concept.

Plus each deck presupposes a Planeswalker character who's casting those spells – and I was always intrigued by that notion and so most of my OCs are representative of decks I played (or wanted to :P) and then in turn each Planeswalker needs a Plane to come from, probably from a still existing culture on that Plane too, and so it can kind of wonderfully reverberate inspiration.

Like how every VTM Kindred OC presupposes a Sire!

The world of Torranham Nights is an anachronistic reflection of England set in the coastal city state of Torranham, drawing from contemporary culture and folklore as well as the legends and reality of the cultures that came before – without being fetishistic about it like a lot of stories will.

Neon Sun

A novel! Cyberpunk Vampires! If we're mutuals you can come ask about this but I'm not ready to share things too publicly for this one yet, but the outlining has gone beautifully in my opinion, and the worldbuilding is singing.

Speartip

I'm making a TTRPG!! It's a Powered by the Apocalypse engine game, about serving as the primary field agents of a faction of people who need your support and protection. Because if you're going to be a hero, who are you doing it for if not your kin?

Setting agnostic as hell, excluding some implicit need for magic in the class moves – I'm prepping to playtest this in sci-fi and fantasy settings to see how well my mechanics hold up in both swords and firearms based stories. Plus I'm going to explore a variety of perspectives of what the faction can be – from ethnic groups, to gangs, to guilds, to neighbourhoods.

I'm VERY excited about all this!!

Hair!

Millie's hair in the pilot! she had a little white spot on her hair. I thought it was cute I liked it ok fine loved it!

Peek character design in my not so humble opinion

If Vivs kept her white spot and didn't elaborate in the slightest and keep the imps gendered characteristics. I think it would have quietly shown us Millie and Sally Mae's relationship. It's like a solidarity thing with her sister a little 'hey I support you' moment. Ok here walk with me

So viv said Millie has strong family ties and a sibling rivalry.

We all know Sally Mae is a trans character. What if she gets a little self conscious about her hair because her roots will be white. Sally Mae still lives on her parents farm doing farm stuff she won't be able to keep up with her very often (even more so now that Millie is gone even if we dont know who is older it would still be alot more work with less hands they even hired a barn hand so they clearly needed extra help.) So Millie to would dye her roots or a random part of her hair white so Sally wasn't the only one with white and black hair.

I think that would have been sooo cute

It would have shown her family ties. Also despite how often she and Sally Mae would/still fight or have complications Millie would still have her sisters back no matter how small the token

(I'm not trans. If this doesn't sound like nice as it sounded to me let me know I'll cut this hair part out)

But honestly Sally shouldn't feel self conscious in the slightest she's so hot

I wish Viv or who ever is in charge of scenery or backgrounds would give us little things to show Millie's personally like they do with moxxie

There's also this poster on Millie's side of the room it looks like a poster for musical but I could be wrong

I think t would be so cash money if Millie had something. Like where her knife is in the last image could have been a picture of her family like a small foreshadowing of the character we're going to meet see. Her lamp could have been western themed. even if it was something small like a book on gun maintenance so she could help moxxie with his guns. They could have shown that the lamp was haphazardly taped on or glued together to show her resourcefulness or maybe have patches or Mitch matched fabric on the lamp shade to show she sews or fixed the lamp shade.

Hi! I have hockey questions, actually. So, I went to school in Western New York, which was the first place I experienced hockey as like a popular sport, and the team everyone was for was the Buffalo Sabres. A friend of mine actually is a huge fan and writes a lot of sports history papers and articles about them, so I know some of their history and it’s fascinating! But I’m also from Ohio and we have our own NHL team apparently. So what’re your opinions on the Sabres and the Columbus Blue Jackets? Just out of curious or y and because I know basically nothing about the sport 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

buffalo is a great team to be a fan of imo, they are very similar to my fav team in that they have struggled a bit in the last few years however with young talents such as tage thompson (center), rasmus dahlin (defenseman) and owen power (defenseman), they are slated to climb the standings and become a more competitive team this year. they also play interesting hockey, and though i don't follow them, whenever i watch their games i have a good time! they are fast, explosive, and score lots of goals which means they're a pleasure to watch. and they're one of the teams in the nhl i'm not necessarily a fan of, but im not against them! fairly neutral. their jerseys are pretty cool as well, i do love the blue/yellow/white colour combo. also if your friend writes articles for them, then that's great! honestly that's the best if you're looking for resources on the team. if you want to look more into them, there is this podcast, that does daily recaps of the team explaining things (although i must admit, while listening to it, it isn't the most beginner friendly), this website is the official nhl sabres website which will have the most reliable news and such, and if you're looking for sabres at a glance, this twitter account was helpful to me!

in terms of the columbus blue jackets, i have to say i don't really like their team that much and they aren't very good. they have a few good talents such as johnny gaudreau (winger) and adam fantilli (center), however the rest of their team isn't great players and they probably won't do well this year. i also just don't like them as a team sorry, so i can't say too many nice things about them because i don't know a lot! if you do end up wanting to support this team, lmk and i can do some more in depth research for you. same with the sabres actually, if you want more info just hmu!!
