Buy a pc with Nvidia drivers and Geforce Experience pre-installed.

Brace yourself for disappointment when it suddenly can't find shit and you'll have to do everything manually anyway.

I decorated my Linux laptop with stickers and I love it.

Laptop unit: 4GB RAM Lenovo Radeon A6 15-13ast

I bought this laptop as the very first gift to myself when I was working at Acn circa 2019. The price is around 16k at the time, and I was only starting my job and half of my wage goes to my fam.

So not a surprise that AT THE TIME, I cannot afford to pay 16k in cash so I purchased the laptop via Home Credit.

During college, I envy my classmates for owning a personal laptop fully funded by their parents. They can do the acad works easier. I would save my works to our old PC (which is also helpful btw. I miss that friend), or I would borrow a laptop from a classmate just to complete a practical exam. During our OJT, I am the only student intern who cannot bring a laptop with her.

So I promised myself a laptop once I get a decent job. And right now, it's good to know that I kept that promise.

Fast forward to 2023, I bought another laptop. Pricier and with higher specs. Instead of home credit, I used a credit card.

So from having zero laptops, I now own two laptops.

It's insane how we don't realize the progress we are making until we look back and remember that we came from something less, and the main reason why I'm whining abt myself being a failure is because I want something more. The standards we set for ourselves doesn't seem to cease increasing (as it should, until we get the life that we want and deserve).
