I know it's not primarily animated, in fact my biggest complaint is that I wish there was MORE stop motion animation then what we got, but I still feel a subtle joy seeing a recent release be categorized as Animation/Horror, and I still hold out a hopeless hope that we will see both more animation hybrid and animation horror in the future

#dumb stuff #horror movies #animation #stopmotion #i'm speaking purely from a USAmerican perspective - I know most countries actually respect animation as a medium #and there are animated horror movies that are indie and they rule #i'm hoping for a broader mainstream push that would hopefully mean more animation movies in general #because let's be real that is just a great thing to have period #also i'm bringing this movie up again because i want to watch it again and it's getting released on digital soon #which means it'll have subtitles! and i can actually understand what the characters are saying!
