my office is hiring a bunch of new people and a lot of them are Russians who recently came into the country to avoid getting drafted to Ukraine. Anyway the guy who's showing them around (also Russian) doesn't bother keeping his voice down and I heard him say "a lot of the employees here are locals unfortunately but it's tolerable"

#i'm sick of these idiots bitching about having to listen to us speak our native language in our native country #but also i'd rather they be annoying here than commit genocide in Ukraine #idk why i.m even surprised this has always been typical behavios from the people who come here fro' russia #like obv not everyone is like that #but at the same time the vast majority will treat us like we're nothing more than a russian province that only exists to entertain them #for their holidays with our food and song #don't be like that
