So I have just been chilling, enjoying my dinner then as girls do,a shower thoughts hit me"the main couple(can you even call them a couple)look kinda familiar and give me the same vibes as another ship"then I fucking realize IT'S MF SAKUATSU.Tell me I am not the only one who sees this.

So I had a random burst of inspiration, and made the mistake of looking over my old HQ apocalypse AU yesterday, and... Well, it's not that I don't love it, because I do, and at the moment I badly wanna get back to writing it again, but...

The thing is, when I started it, the manga was... I think still on the Nekoma/Fukurodani Tokyo arc? We'd barely even met Nohebi.

So now, I'm looking at the setup for this ensemble fic which is, fundamentally, more about how mostly they all escape and rebuild society together against the odds than it is specifically an apocalypse thing, and I'm just thinking:

"Oh no but what about everyone else?"

Like...This is a very Karasuno/Nekoma heavy fic, which is fine, and I already have like, a plan for what happens to Seijoh and Shiratorizawa, but...but there are so many more teams now??? Not to mention all the freaking family members we now know to exist.

So. I'm just sorta having a crisis at the moment about what I do. Because even though it's an apocalypse AU and people absolutely die, there's kinda...less of that than you'd think (it's mostly OCs who peg it). But equally, it feels like... would people be sitting there thinking "wow this sure is convenient then" if basically I just turned this into "hoo boy it sure seems like volleyball players inherited the earth, isn't that neat!"

I actually think atsumu tends to be the one who needs everything in a specific spot. kiyoomi is mostly concerned with cleanliness, whereas atsumu has a designated spot for everything and he needs it in that spot or he gets overwhelmed and upset.

tbh I think atsumu has a mild case of ocd, and I don't mean that in a joking way, I'm dead serious. he has obsessions and compulsions, if he doesn't make sure everything is in its spot he will have a panic attack.

I think they're both romantics. atsumu is more open and loud about it. but also kiyoomi has had his perfect wedding planned since he was 12 years old.

kiyoomi really struggles with comforting atsumu sometimes. like he hates seeing atsumu upset, but also he thinks atsumu gets upset for dumb reasons. he gets better with it, but it's also hard to care when he doesn't care, yknow?

I think they're both pretty vanilla in bed actually. they just like tender, soft love. that's their kink.

kiyoomi's hands are dry and rough because he washes and sanitizes his hands a lot. atsumu fucking hates it.

atsumu cooks dinner and kiyoomi does the dishes.

atsumu convinced kiyoomi to get a dog. kiyoomi doesn't know how atsumu did it, but also kiyoomi loves their dog with all of his heart. sometimes more than he loves atsumu

osamu comes over unannounced and kiyoomi hates it. eventually, osamu gives kiyoomi a heads up but never atsumu

atsumu loves making dinner for kiyoomi, and their first few dates were at atsumus house because he was just so excited to make dinner for kiyoomi.

nsfw. but I think kiyoomi doesn't bottom often. I think he has a hard time relaxing and he always is super tense about it, so even if he does try it tends to be painful. he has to be in the mood and the one to bring it up. and atsumu will spend all day and night making kiyoomi relax and open up if it means he gets top, even for five minutes.

their first fight was when they were furniture shopping for their new apartment, and kiyoomi pointed out a couch that atsumu thought was hideous.

kiyoomi struggles with physical affection and intimacy. atsumu tells kiyoomi what he wants though, and that really helps kiyoomi because he always feels so awkward doing something.

atsumu likes it when kiyoomi plays with his hair. it's rare that it happens but atsumu purrs like a cat when it does.

kiyoomi likes it when atsumus a bit chubbier during the off season. he thinks it makes atsumu glow and atsumu often looks far happier when he's not eating on a diet.

We're The Foxglove Digest, an 18+ only SakuAtsu space with a focus on writers/artists/creators, though fans who are just excited about the pairing and want a place to brainrot are fully welcome! The server is themed as a magazine company, which sounds intense, but really we're just a tight-knit community of SKTS obsessed nerds. There are many channels meant specifically for creators to help one another and work together, as well as some really unique 24/7+live events.
