Huginn and Muninn absolutely help Draxum out with reminding him to take care of himself, and it's definitely a perk that they can take care of things like cooking and cleaning for him so he doesn't have to worry about that (useful both so he can work more and so when he's having a bad day/week, he has less to worry about). It's also useful that they have better memories and senses of time than he does.

I know they tend to get characterized as useless/ annoying/ actively making Draxum's life harder, but like??? He kept them around for thirteen years, and he definitely didn't have to do that. They had to be helpful in some capacity, and "Draxum and his service gargoyles who annoy him into taking breaks" is a much more interesting dynamic to me than "Draxum and his incompetent henchmen" is.

draxum has chronic pain to me it is a canon event
