i'm gonna play Cassette Beasts in a bit

so here's the Beasts i recorded the last time i played

apparently recording is like scanning a digimon combined with pokémon's capturing mechanic, wherein you 'record' a Beast while damaging them just enough to increase your chances of getting it into a tape on your next turn.
