i've been thinking a lot about dutch musical theatre legend pia douwes lately, as we all should do from time to time, and this led me to rediscover the dutch musical "3 musketiers" and specifically this number which is maybe the closest a euro musical ever gets to just being a drag show

I really love the concept of skam, or druck ( the german title). They showcase teenagers trying to find themselves, making friendships, beginning relationships and ending them, all while trying to survive school in a REALISTIC way. No wonder the show is so popular and has international remakes. Also the characters have social media tou can access to, and also find out more about them, that's so cool, I love that!
When I first watched the original Norwegian version, skam, three tears ago, I did it out of curiosity because my friends were raving about it, and I soon understood why. The show was so unique and different than what my 15 year old self has seen before, that I willingly watched a show in a language I dont understand, with the help if english subtitles. Now, I came back again to the show concept, but this time I watched the german version, and I didnt need help to understand what was going on, thank God, and it was also easier to relate to the characters having school problems, since I was familiar with them. I actually knew what will happen, or so I thought. Even though the seasons were similar, each one focusing on one person's perspective, the details were vastly different, but that's ok, because it made it more realistic, even if that means that my ship wont be together (for now, because I still have faith in them and hope, that they'll bring out a season focusing on them trying to survive uni and work life, and the new challenges coming with it, because there are only so many highschool shows one can watch)
I dont know what this is, probably a skam/druck appreciation post, if you haven't watched it, I strongly recommend you to do so. There is the Norwegian version, the Dutch version, the French version, the Spanish version, the Austin version, the German version (best in my humble opinion), and those a mre the ones I can think of my head now. You won't regret it, I loved it so much I watched the original concept in an unfamiliar language, and years later, in a different one again. Ok, now I'm done.
I am not sorry for the spam, I need to grieve
