Today I:

-planned for the final week of my dept archival work contract and it seems feasible to finish indexing all of the pdfs of the scanned notebooks

-took several orders entirely in Spanish and both of my back of house coworkers were gassing me up about this success lmao

-threw together a brine to pickle some shallots and cucumbers for tonight's dinner and a few other upcoming meals

-did my third day in a row of a 40 minute yoga vid that I feel like hits a lot of great baselines for me rn

-shaved my head :) I've been thinking about doing it for a few weeks and I finally did it! so freeing and humbling and hilarious. what is a head, what is my face, why does touching it feel so good? all things I will be pondering in the short term until it grows out to lengths I personally prefer a little more, which really won't take that long at all

#personal #good things #food #i don't know how to fully convey this but shaving my head the first time was a real test and confrontation of a lot of ideas and assumption #and this time it was just total lolz #also shaving your head as a way to explore your gender #highly recommend #for me it solidified that i am sooo cis lmao #i'm just some girl. a woman too ig...but there are no gender revelations for me in terms of hair styling #head or body or otherwise #and I wanted to learn that about myself...some people definitely don't need to enact body modifications even as minor as cutting hair #to ascertain or examine their gender #but i think it's a neat thing to do :)#to show to jules #yoga
