something i think the people shitting on taash for that conversation with emmrich need to understand is how it felt from taash's perspective. taash takes every opportunity they can to state over and over in no uncertain terms that they do not like corpses. this was even mentioned in their podcast episode: it's something that really upsets them. emmrich knows this, they have a bunch of banter about it. yet he continues to insist that taash ought to "change their mind" and engage more with the undead. this is a boundary taash has clearly drawn and emmrich violates it, repeatedly and incessantly. he is not listening to them, which is a sore spot for taash to begin with.

think of a topic that makes you really uncomfortable. now imagine if someone you both work with and live with would not stop bringing it up with you, even after you've voiced how uncomfortable it makes you. THEY like talking about it, so your boundaries don't matter to them. imagine this goes on for months. like, really think about it. and then thank taash for only calling him a skull-fucker death mage instead of knocking him out, because that's what i would've done.
