ngl, anon, i saw this ask this morning and i was like... heartstopper au?! HEARTSTOPPER AU?! but how did they know?! have the anons become mind readers or something?! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

.... buuuut then i remembered that i said something about a heartstopper au in my tags at like 2:30AM last night (this morning actually but shhhh it counts as the night.) and i was just like. OHHHHH YEAH everything makes sense now 😅 good lord i am stewpid

charles is charlie (obviously lmao 🤭) but also omg it actually works so perfectly i am losing my mind. because: he's a little younger than pierre, he's got the dark curls and blue/green eyes, god KNOWS he doubts himself and says "sorry" too much. he's even very quick too!!

pierre is nick (again, OBVIOUSLY.) he's got the more classic jock build, but he's absolutely a sweetheart and a genuinely decent person under the swagger. he's even got the blond-ish hair and blue eyes ahhhhhhhhhh

(though if i ever write this fic, pierre would be a football lad and not a rugby lad. because. come on)

anyways - just IMAGINE piarles getting seated together in form. charles initially being all "ughhhh a football lad 🙄🙄" but then pierre is actually so... nice?? and really really cute?? and maybe charles starts to get butterflies, just a little bit 🥺

and then the whole ben thing too!! charles has this boy he's sort of seeing (this would have to be an original character, hello adam) but this boy is an absolute DICK and he's only using charles/calling him over to make out when it suits him. and for the rest of the time, he pretends charles doesn't exist and treats him like utter shit

and then maybe charles finally decides enough is enough and goes to tell ben/adam it's over. but then adam tries to kiss him again despite charles saying no, and then --

pierre followed the beautiful boy who sat next to him in form, his new friend. he heard charles say no. he saw adam kiss him anyway. and pierre is rightfully furious, and rips adam off charles like "he said no!"

ahhhh and then pierre and charles become closer and closer 🥺🥺 charles is a friend like pierre has never had before. spending time with him just makes pierre so HAPPY in a way he doesn't really feel with his other friends. everyone notices.

charles' friends (the twitch quartet maybe?? omg) tell him "charles don't do this don't fall in love with a straight boy oh my GOD" but charles does of course. he can't help it 🥺

except that pierre might not be so straight after all!!! he invites charles to one of the football lads' parties, and we all know what happens there... the "would you kiss someone who wasn't a girl? would you kiss me?" scene for piarles. just imagine it. IMAGINE it. oh my goddddd 😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
