Okay, I just felt it looked like Fubuki’s was 18-19 years old.
And that's alright! Since Kodaka is most know for the Dangan series with its casts of high schoolers (who aren't actually of high school age), it's understandable why people would come to the conclusion that at least some of the Master Detectives are around their late teens. And there isn't anything wrong with that, really. Headcanons are headcanons, no harm no foul! I tend to be a stickler for trying to stick to canon as close as possible with a few creative liberties here n there if it serves my stories better (if I'm not writing for something that's explicitly an AU of course), so I view all the detectives as adults, at least all above 21 years old. But that's just me, everyone has their own age headcanons that they rock n' roll with! I'm certainly not gonna bonk anyone over the head with a roll of newspaper for thinking a character is [insert age here].
#i guess the character under the most scrutiny with his age is yuma#which makes sense considering his 'boyish' design conflicting with him clearly interacting with things as a 21+ person#so i'm not surprised people butt heads with that the most#but it's not my fight#i'm just in my own little corner flipping around my personal headcanons sign like i'm tryin' to sell myself something#promising myself the dream of actually putting some of my own headcanons to good use in my stories...#anyway what were we talkin' about-#master detective archives: rain code#rain code
