My brain has been flip flopping around, so you'll get two snippets from what I've been slowly working on.
When The World Falls.
Liz gave him a cheeky smile and giggled. “At least you just have to deal with me.”  “I guess that’s better than the both of you.” He shrugged his shoulders, but she could see a little smirk on his lips.  “I have to agree, with just me you won’t have to deal with too much chaos.” She went quiet for a moment, thinking. “That’s a lie and you know it.”  Simon nodded his head. “You’re kind of a firecracker, love.”  “And he doesn’t mean that in a good way.” Liz's mouth slightly went agape as she heard those words coming from her former squad mates. “That was rude, Merrick. But not shocking coming from you.”  He didn’t really say anything after that, just kind of shrugged his shoulders. That was the typical Merrick that she came to, sort of love. “I’m here for Logan.”  “Why? Training’s not for another few hours.”  “Pit duty.”  Before Logan could get a word out, Merrick sighed and rolled his eyes. “You can take Liz with you if you want.”  As much as she wants to spend her last day or two with her brother, being outside in the heat all day wasn’t ideal. She would rather spend time inside instead. “Don’t I get a say in this?”
Jade Helm.
“Now the long road to recovery.”  “You’ll be healed before you know it.” Mentioned her mom from the kitchen.  “Not soon enough.” She chuckled only to wince in pain. “The last time I was on bedrest was when I broke my leg, wasn’t it?”  Alex looked over at her with a raised brow, and a small smirk was on his face. “You never told me you broke your leg, kotyonok?”  She looked over at him, feeling her cheeks start to burn up. “It’s embarrassing. I’ve been trying to remove it from my memory, moya sladost’.”  “It can’t be that embarrassing.” He turned his attention over to Sarah. “Right?”  “It’s really not.” She walked back into the room with a cup of tea, handing it to her.  “So what happened?”
