#puppy rambles#rhythm hell#gold#best rhythm heaven#i mean ds specifically is. yes there is a difference#i'm joking but there is actually a gameplay difference. frog hop has an extra yahoo in gold but doesn't in ds-#the fact that they added that to the english version in megamix messes with my memorization of frog hop tbh#my instinct is to add it but i think that's probably just since i played it in megamix first-#i played frog hop n lockstep in megamix first. on emulator. would not recommend#granted citra was honestly better for megamix emulation back then. idk how it got worse-#definitely seems it did though. like dear god the audio syncing is fucking garbage now#when i was playing the only real problem was like. input lag (which is a problem for all the games)#specifically for animal acrobat n stuff. wouldn't recognize that i was still holding the button#the input lag was worse for some games than others tbh#frog hop n lockstep definitely had the worst. there's a reason i hated them for so long#n look at me now. frog hop n lockstep are two of my favorite games. including in megamix#frog hop 2/jumpin' jazz specifically is#i do still prefer them in ds though honestly. mostly just cuz of barelys#i know it doesn't effect normal runs but it doesn't effect me as much in ds vs. in megamix#in megamix when i do it i'm like ''dammit'' but in ds it's like ''eh would still perfect-''
