If you like Higurashi, I highly recommend Umineko, it’s so so good! Not the anime, but there’s plenty of playthroughs/read through on YouTube!

Oh yeah, I played through it not long after finishing original Higurashi actually! My Monokubs’ tag was inspired by Umineko and the whole ‘furniture’ concept (though I mentioned a while ago it was more inspired after Maria and Sakutarou what with the latter being a plushie, it’s like a blend of the two ideas). Ouma himself - and his mask, naturally (ahem Monokuma) - makes me think of Beato, what with how cryptic he is regarding himself and his past, particularly...

...In short yeeeah I thought about Umineko a bunch- there’s even a whole slew of tracks on my playlist from Umineko ahaha
